Falling over themselves to do it whilst some proclaiming loudly they won’t. Bit of a secret handshake deal.

They've been employed in a seperate company created just for them. They are now with CX, but not on the seniority list. They will fly trips ostensibly for training/testing etc.

That makes a great deal of sense. I’m looking forward to the official announcement.

The down side being less overall airframes means more job losse to come, although with no Redundancy or LIFO protection anymore.

The silver lining to me is that it doesn't really matter anymore what happens next.

The job is simply not attractive enough with COS18, I don't care about LIFO or if it is 3 months or 6 months, if they let me go or not. Whatever.

At least I get to live at home, I will see my family more, it might be the better life anyway.

There is life after CX...and most only appreciate that after the fact. I suspect many more will soon attain that realisation. Good luck STW.

On the hub it is said they were retained to work their KA notice period, Ops-D already had the KA trainers approved for CX training.

I believe that only A330 names were in the ops-d now they need A320 trainers to train the trainers to train the initial cadre of Cathay pacific A321 pilots.
