BA is facing their own acute crew shortage, with rapid growth and increasing retirements. They will take as many people as they can from wherever they can. I hardly think the magic leprechaun will give two tosses as to whether or not the chinglish 'A50' wonder is worried about poaching! CX is about to see their most important resource, their highly trained aircrew, bled away by other more aggressive employers.

They will take half a dozen.
We would need 60 or 70 to bolt to even rate a mention on the 3rd floor.

Recruitment
I attended this quite some time ago, but a friend very recently attended a briefing at BA in London, which was part of his second day assessment. Head of recruitment confirmed to the group that almost 300 of the 350 ish positions for this year are now filled. Recruitment closed now until later this year (maybe September) which, when it reopens will be for 2017. Enough people currently in the system to fill the remaining vacancies I guess
