Fatigue

More window dressing in the latest notice

CX067 DEL-FRA. With effect from January 2012, a minimum of 30 hours rest prior to operating this service will be scheduled.
So extra rest in Delhi is going to solve the problem of being awake all day before flying through the night and landing in your circadian low?

3 pilots is required you f##kw!ts!!

Not flaming, an honest question: How is a fatigue call handled at CX? Pressure from crew control, chat with the chief, or you don't hear anything from anyone and go on your merry way?

Airline (U.S.) I work for has recently changed their fatigue policy a bit, and though you'll get no harassment from crew services, you will end filling out a fatigue form and possibly have some questions asked by the chief pilot -- to justify this, company claims it is for record keeping and statistical purposes, not to intimidate you...

So no pressure at all. And when I say no pressure, I mean there is the tiniest amount.

They don't have a third pilot to spare! That is why we have to stop working g-days and checking cre messages when we don't have to. This is what you should be doing, if you aren't, then you are the f##kw!ts.

And as mentioned, there has to be more "can nots" when scheduled to perform a duty which you feel is un-safe.

Just call in and say, " I'm unfit for duty" you don't have to say anything else.

or just say, "I cannot comply with HKG ANR's, do you still want me operate?"

ANR's? You mean you can't fly if there are not active noise reduction headsets because you get too fatigued?
