GUILTY!!
I hate to say it folks but guilty as charged .....
After years of abuse, ridicule and flight deck torment, numerous pilots decided to leave as a result of my sadistic, unprofessional & agressive nature.
I've worked my hardest to "rattle peoples cages", but ultimately the general flight crew voted with their feet and have either left or called sick for my flights.
Now that I am a general line driver, no one kisses my ass, no one asks me questions and no one will even drink beer with me.
I've fallen off my tree and become a no-body..... I'm bored frustrated and confused.
If people will fly with me I'll sign their epaulettes and take them for a ride in my tiptronic gayness Porsche!
I'm lonely - sad - deluded and confused, please come and line drive with me I promise not to give out any base training tips!

Or vice versa...
IM(not very)HO it seems fairly obvious that CX is positioning its pilot workforce looking foward to conform roughly with mainland terms and conditions, allowing either Swires to withdraw gracefully or under instruction. It's pretty obvious that you couldn't integrate mainland and CX crews with such a wide disparity between earnings, but China is known to play a long game very successfully...

It will just allow for the faster retirement of the 744 and transfer of A330s to KA. They can also retire some of the 340s while they're at it. Remember we are losing BCFs as well so the 747-8F deliveries are almost one for one replacements.
