I heard that a pilot, who has worked for Wimray for many years, went for the CP approval, but got knocked back in the interview. That is why RD is staying on for a couple of more weeks. Who is the new CP that is starting???

The new CP??. .Wouldn't you like to know, actually so would I! . .Anyway, I've hear many stories about Air Ngu and since i've been working under HE, he's done nohting wrong. I find a defect in an a/c, i tell him, he goes and call the engineers to come fix it. This is the exact opposite to the rumours i had heard. Maybe these rumours ARE from pi$$ed off ex pilots who for one reason or another didn't get what they wanted.. .One i heard was that when Wimray was bought out, a certain pilot thought that all the wimray pilots (all with load of experience, some as hig as 4000-5000 hrs!!), to be sent down to ngukurr to fly 210, and he get sent to darwin for the twins. I don't really understand the logic there, but I assume he wasnt happy with the outcome.. .Anyway, enough said, Air Ngu are still having teething problems with the wimray purchase, but im sure it'll all work out soon.

I agree with you Vapour Boy from what I hear it semms that the old CP wasn't that bad after all. Majority of problems always start with disenchanted employees. It seems he gives low time pilots a go and then they want more and more.
