ALPHA 41, KAPITAN M and those expressing like views about NZ, ANZ, and NZers in general (along with being anti Poms, refugees, etc) are sorry, sad people. This NZer sees no point in this forum for any Kiwi aviator...good hearted banter, healthy rivalry, is all well and good fun - but the blind ignorance and xenophobic bigotry as exemplified by the above posters and some others is beyond what is acceptable in civilised discourse. Goodbye all.

Now Now little boys.
Stop your little tantrams, throwing your toys out of the cot. Shake hands, be friends. You never know. One day you may need each other.

Boeing Belly I have a question for you: after the recession in Argentina Aerolinas Argentnia's dropped its Auckland to Buenos Aires route which was quickly taken over by Qantas.I know for a fact many of these pax are from New Zealand and/ or South American Countries.I might add that I have know problems with this and would wonder if you do?.I certainly dont go out of my way to fly with my countries 'flag carriers' and find it more interesting who actually owns what!!? Perhaps you should look upon the world as one instead of broken up invisilble boarders as it was during the 'industrial age before the Berlin Wall came down!.

I don't know why I bother with west islanders but I'll try!

If Air NZ are such a pack of bludgers how come QF are flying the friendly skies over here and we're excluded over there? We used to flag BNE en-route to Asia but soon worked out that the Asians had more sense and didn't want to get off so we stopped doing it.

To cap it all I've just been told that NZ'ers who applied for the domestic QF jobs have been pink slipped in favour of pilots who brought AN to its knees.

Don't expect the 'welcome' mat to be out.

Just a thought for those Skippys leading this particular xenophobic charge; Monash (an Australian University, if that's not an oxymoron to you)a couple of years ago published a study carried out on productivity of non-Australian born citizens which produced a lot of fairly useless information, but did note that of all the aforementioned citizens, the least likely to be on any benefit were, Tara, tara; Kiwi's, and in fact the Bondi myth was started by Aussies to divert attention from the local Wayne's and Marlene's! Once again the universal shoulder chip carried around by (some )semi-literate Aussies causes story to fall foul of fact.In fact, to continue to regurgitate that particular myth really puts you on the back side of the learning curve.Look up the Monash site, then Demographic Studies, that's M--O--N, got it?

I hope you guys are better prepared for flying than you are at this correspondence. Now let me think B (Brain, Dis-engaged), M ( Mouth, closed), can you remember now? What? You want me to repeat it?

Samuel,
If you believe implicitly everything which emanates from the experts in ivory towers you are going to be disillusioned repeatedly. You can obtain any number of conflicting views from very many sources including think tanks, academic institutions etc all of which are later shown to be in error when compared with the real world.

Only last year it was pointed out that Australian Taxpayers paid out $150 million more welfare payments to kiwis in Australia versus that paid to Australians on welfare in NZ. So much for reciprocal benefits.

We offered to pay for our own over there if you paid for yours over here. But you lot would rather sponge $150 million off us.

FSU that's probably because we're more willing (or is that stupid) to employ Ozzies than you are Kiwis.

Oh, and did I mention?.. we won the cricket last night! (AGAIN!! did I hear?)

FSU, I wouldn't expect anyone with a mind like a steel trap, (i.e. Closed)to accept anything he hadn't thought of first, which is not a lot it would seem. It was fairly predictable that you would not wish to spoil an Aussie fable with fact.

As for judging the 'real world' as you so quaintly cliche it, that includes accepting everything you see and hear and using judgement and perception to filter out what you need to know. If you are so narrow in your views as an aviation person then you should perhaps consider a job where others are less dependent on your thought processes?

It seem you have a problem with anything after breakfast! Fortunately, I have enough real world Aussie mates to know that you and your mentality are very much a minority. <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

Obviously you don't like the facts. All you can do is respond with infantile remarks.

Really? I got you spouting diatribe and entering into a pissing contest without too much of an effort. Given your evident lack of knowledge of everything else you've entered here, it was obvious you would bite like a Groper on heat, and you did!Don't like it either do you?

Stick to what you know mate! You'd be out of your depth walking on wet grass.

I will however concede that the vast majority of rational Kiwis and Aussie don't enter PPRune precisely because of the level of xenophobia displayed by people like you.Byeeee!

You have not one fact in your response, just the usual personal denigration and inaccurate labelling. Look up xenophobia = fear of foreigners. Plenty of friends of all nationalities but I don't like spongers no matter where they come from.
