With Mods Permission - Baron time available

I have done this before and went well so Ill try again.
Have a 58 Baron in QLD that will be needing a flight back to Sydney.
No Endorsement flights!!!
If you have the rating & preferably MECIR and just want to need hours then let me know.
IT is just a heads up that it will be happening but not for another few weeks

No probs 'Bizz' anytime
I am surprised though that you have to go asking for someone to do such a task, usually ya just turn over a piece of cardboard at the back of an old hangar at any airport & there will be several pilots under it keeping warm 'till the next meal/flight, oh yeah 4got there's no longer a shortage of pilots right?

Good onya for putting it out there. was the sort of thing I built a lot of hours doing back in my early flying days, and could not have afforded to pay for.
As for the offer............weeeeell, I'm with Wally on this one.......I sorta got used to the big old vacuum cleaner noise and lack of vibration.

You swapped your vibrator for a vacuum cleaner, kinky.

Bizzybody,
Welcome back after a nice hiatus. If people actually look back through PPRUNE they will see Bizzy has offered this before. I do not know whether it came through or not but from PM's I got when I asked about your previous offer of an E55 Baron for hire you went extremely quiet. In fact I got PM's from three others who also chased you down and they all said the same thing. After your initial offer you usually reply once or twice and then more more correspondance. If anyone does take Bizzy up on his offer I would love to actually get a report here on it, because as far as I have been able to tell, bizzy is very good at offering things (particularly Barons) and then not delivering.

Bizzy,
I would absolutely love to be proven wrong and for you to contact me and to continue down the road of hiring your E55 Baron as you had previously offered. In fact if it did actually go ahead I will eat humble pie and offer my complete and public apologies. I also know of three others on PPRUNE who tried to contact you who would also love to hire your Baron (probably over 150hrs per year between us) and I will pass them on to you as well.

Yours patiently waiting
Mr Bomb

WOW Good morning.
The last flight i put up on this forum from Adelaide to Sydney , went with 1 Ppruner and another person i know. This 58 i have just bought.

I dont sit on this forum and check my PM's every day or even every week. There are plenty of barons out there you and other people can use anytime. I dont mind answering people when asking to use my planes you have have to understand, out of 10 people that ask to use it i MAY get 1 that actually goes through with it and the people that do, generally dont or cant pay for a long time.

4 months ago I hired out a baron, the 55, what part of take off and land on the MAINS ONLY dont some people understand. Hard landing only very very minor damage. I said to her, not to worry about the damage because the insurance would pay for it but i recieved payment for the hire only 1 months ago.

I offer this time to pilots on here for FREE!!!!!!!!!
No fuel costs,
No Aircraft costs.
No ICUS costs.
FREE HOURS IN A BARON

People please remember. When i post these flights, i get flooded with emails with people wantng to go. I cant take everyone.

I dont care how many hows people CLAIM they are going to do in a year or a month because it never actually happens. Not even charter operators. "ill give you 20 hours per month" WHATEVER. heard it all before.

In general peoples, if you PM me and i dont answer, it is probably because i am NOT AVAILABLE.

Geez mate you sound like a couple of dodgy GA operators I've come across, especially those guys that run the meat bombing.

I'd be happy to do your flight for you just send me a business class ticket to get to wherever the plane is, and pay me the daily rate for a ME CIR rated pilot, and you've got a deal.

Come one Sue.

If it' genuine and it helps an aspiring young aviator with a Baron gig in a good company, then i commend the thread starter.

I wish there were more people in the industry willing to do put back in what they have taken out.

Why so negative?

My first "job" as a CPL was to ferry a baron from Perth to Brisbane via Geraldton-Kalgoorlie-Ceduna-Broken Hill. It cost me nothing and got me to the east coast to start job hunting. Good on him for offering.

Bizzy,
More than happy that you may be busy and not check things on here. I gave you my email address, name and phone number. I gave you dates of when I was able to do the endo and the dates I wanted to hire your aircraft for about 30 hours (to Redbull last year as a matter of fact!). NO RESPONSE at all after you asked me to respond to you! Don't know what else I could have done as the only way I could possibly contact you was through PPRUNE! I still have those PM's and so I can back everything I have said here up with facts. And I have the PM's from three other "Prooners" who had exactly the same experience with you as I did.

A word of advice on how to stop all this from happening again. If you put an offer on the board about a flight or Baron available for hire or whatever and people respond, you could either do the courtesy of saying sorry guys been filled no more PM's please and thanks for those that were interested, rather than leading people on and then having no responses and no posts on PPRUNE for 12 months. Only takes three minutes out of your day to show a little courtesy...

In the end it makes no difference to me, however my post is merely a warning to others and hopefully you may take something on board about how people can perceive things on the interweb thingy.

Like I said I do indeed hope you are above board and someone gets a few hours in the Baron out of this, your offer is generous if indeed it does come through. I just caution those who may put some hope on this. Once bitten and all....

Cheers
Mr B.

Hey Spike, Just as a matter of interest. Did you find that Geraldton was a little off track on the trip to Kalgoorlie?
