Post IE6 Halfscreen

My IE6 browser will only open with its top half showing. That is, its bottom half goes off the bottom of my screen.
I cannot drag it into place (wont budge) unless I reduce it, but when I maximise it reverts to half off the screen again.

It occurred when I clicked on a ‘gator’ link from my history list.

1. What is gator? .... It appeared after one of the kids went searching for music today.

2. Can I restore my IE back to full (vertically centred) screen? (OS = W98)

Have you tried to tile the window vertically i.e right click the task bar at the bottom of the screen and select the "Tile windows vertically" option

Gator is spyware. To get rid, try downloading and installing adaware ADAWARE .Probably won't fix your other problem though but you could do my old favorite, the 'system restore'. Yours is the sort of problem it was introduced for. (me/2000/xp os's have the 'system restore' feature)
