Why do I have to keep logging on.

Using a new PC, well a new second hand one and for some reason every time I try to post on any of the forums I use inc PPRuNe I keep on having to log on which is a pain,

Any of you guys suggest what I need to adjust.

Nick.

Set your internet browser to accept cookies & see if that helps.

Check your antivirus / firewall program(s). Mine (Computer Associates) defaults to clearing out all cookies once you leave the site which negotiates them - ie the next time you go to that site you have to start all over again .

I turned this 'feature' <off>, and the logon details for this site and others were then retained as they should be.

tick the 'Remember me' box next to the login also. This gives you a different cookie that is not time limited.....
