I think it's easier if you come to Brazil with only training hours, my gf had the transcripts from the school (each hour is signed by her, the CFI and the dispatcher), the tag of each hour she did, everything signed and notarized....
Same with me, I got recognized also the hours I worked as Flight Instructor and the hours I flew privately, I had all the tags to present to ANAC. The only hours they didn't recognized are the ones I flew in the Air Force, but not even the FAA did that. |
Anyone knows, will there be any change to hours recognition when the RBAC61 substitutes the RBHA61?

As far I know there is not gonna be any changes, the only new hours related reg will be for INVAs, the will need to have 200 hours of PIC.

Well, PLA in Brazil is a piece of cake, if one cant pass that, maybe should really stay away from instructing, I agree though it is stupid, instead they should pack all the knowledge required in the INVA course itself, would make more sense.;)

Cause what im reading here is that if you are not brazilian you cant go commercial, are you brazilian or from a european country !?! |
how long will it take to get all shorted out for me to get employed and fly ?? You should check with your Foreign Ministry to see if the two governments have any sort of agreement to speed things up, although AFAIK these agreements seem to be one way traffic.....Brazil to wherever. TTFN |
