J.O.
I think you are misinterpreting what I am saying. And it has everything to do with this thread as a person has come here asking for help and has been shot down in flames by narrow minded people.
I have never said that Canada has any anti-foreign policies at all. I just get sick of hearing local pilots standing on their soap boxes and broadcasting through anonymity, anti-foreign ideals.

I also never implied that there was no bad pilots from other nations. What I was saying, was that the "local knowledge" stuff is crap. Quite a few Canadian pilots who are getting these jobs in the north have had no experience in the conditions they are getting themselves into.
I'm sorry, but they are just as inexperienced as a foreign pilot.

Judging by the massive make up of Polynesian, Indian, Asian and Southern African nationalities in New Zealand. I do not think that it is hard to get in here.
They use the same system to get into NZ as in Canada. Study, PR and then get family in under that application. But that is starting to get way off topic.

I have no qualms with there being hoops to jump through with getting into a country. I have said that all along.
Once they are in the country, with a permit in hand, to judge them on where they are from is ignorant and wrong.
If they have the legal right, then it should be the best person for the job.

Fine I am a disgrace to aviation. But that's the way it is sorry. And I removed my comment as I guess I can not do any good.

Thanks guys for loving my fellow pilots more.

I would not be bragging about your "methods" needtofly. That just shows a high level of arrogance and ignorance on your part and the companies part. These are peoples lives you are shamelessly tossing around the hangar. Maybe I would take you more seriously if you learned to spell properly or use appropriate grammar. Good thing it wasn't a requirement to have your resume become an airplane or you would not have made. Think about that for just a minute!
That is just disgusting!

I think it is a guy that know more then just flying. A guy that if you do crash can survive in the woods. Help people with things other then flying. And I hate to say it buy the guys born and raised in Canada seem to do better thinking outside the box (well other them the city boys from Toronto but some have surprised me). Just because they grew up here.
I dont think your cranium is functioning at max power, maybe you should go back and make sure you are operating at "Barbara Pull".
