Hi everyone,
I have my interview this Friday 1st September with VS. Very nervous. Tell me, does anyone know Virgin's policy on wearing glasses, I know some airlines are a definite no. Thanks in anticipation. J on my last few flights about 4 fa's were wearing glasses, so im sure its not a problem, hope this helps, good luck! :ok: |
I've heard that Virgin never offer a job after just one interview. Can anyone dispel this rumour?
|
After you have taken part in the assessment day which includes an interview at the end (if you pass all stages), they either offer you the job or write to inform that you have been unsucesseful ...:)
|
Not sure where you got the information that Virgin don't offer a job after just one interview. I attended for the first time earlier this year, and got the job. The two others who were offered the job, were also there for their first interview with Virgin.
We had our assessment and interview one afternoon, and I got my call lunch time the following day. Good luck, Virgin is a great company to work for. :) |
Thats true. I only had one interview with Virgin and got offered the job four days later. x:)

hey folks. does anyone have an interview this tuesday, it's the 5th of sep?

Interview
Hi there, i too have an interview on the 7th of September and would love to hear from anyone else who will be there on that day.
:ok: |
Most of my questions have pretty much been answered :}, but I'm wondering one thing, what are the check in times for Virgin crew? And does anyone know any other (longhaul) airline check in times? The airline i'm working for now has check-in times as early as 3am or coming back from a flight anything in between midnight to 4am.
The reason I'm wondering is cuz I will be commuting by train until i've got my own car. I am looking to live in Brighton area where there's a pretty good train service (only half an hour to LGW) and with crew discount. the first trains leaving at 4am, first ones returning 4:45am am or last one from Brighton leaving 11:37pm or last ones returning at 1:45am is this feasable with current check in times? Cheers! :ok: |
Quick question...
Does anyone know if EVERYONE gets a second interview now or not? It used to be that only the 'chosen ones' got through to the second part of the day but I've recently heard that now everyone gets the chance to have a 2-2-1 interview, is this correct?

Virgin do run a crew shuttle coach service between LGW and LHR at about hourly intervals so not having a car shouldn't be too much of a problem. |

Most people wait until they've completed their 6 months probation so they can use staff travel concessions. Good luck with your course. |
