Easyjet interview???
Hi all,
My girlfriend has just been invited to attend an easyjet interview and just wondering if anybody out there has been through this "experience" recently and prepared to give us the "heads up" on what is involved?
I went through the pilot selection procedure a couple of years ago and wasn't taken on - clearly not "orange" enough!
I recall that they were very much into building "aesthetically pleasing" structures with bits of plastic and string etc.... Is it the same for Cabin Crew?
Also as a male (pilot) they insisted that I should not wear a suit and tie so what about a female (cabin attendant)? My girlfriend is more used to the "BA type" interview where you dress smartly in a business suit and actually look like a professional cabin attendant but what does she do this time - go in an orange sweatshirt and jogging bottoms?
Okay I am being flippant but seriously any genuine help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there!! A friend of mine has worked for them for about a year now and as far as I know the interview process has not changed.
They will make her do a series of group exercises (building an animal or something is one of them). She will also have to do some written tests, one of which is maths. I undrstand that they are quite strict with the tests. Basically, if you fail the tests you don't get through to the second stage.
Why don't you advise her to apply for ohters like Virgin, bmi, My Travel, GB Airways and Excel. I hear they are all recruiting.
Tell her GOOD LUCK!!

Her maths. is excellent so that is no problem but (unfortunately?) she shares my views on the relevance of building structures (or animals!???) out of bits of plastic and string...........
Also (being a woman!) she is more concerned about what to wear!!!
Thanks for your other advice - she was offered a position with BMI but sadly (despite previous employment history - as a Cabin Attendant with BA! - obtaining a security pass/ID proved to be "too difficult" since she cannot prove what she has been doing for the past couple of years!!! - i.e. she has been with me and has not had to work ...... apparently in these days of "heightened security" (excuse me while I laugh
) that is not good enough!!! 
So not sure why it should be any different this time but.............................she is keen to work and fly again!
We live in Spain and so the cost of the interview with flights at short notice and an unavoidable nightstop is going to exceed 300 pounds! Just wondering whether it is worth the risk???

Obtaining references for the security pass does not require that you be employed for the past 5 years. You just require a reference from anyone who has known your wherabouts (and is not related to you). It will not be a problem I can assure.
As for what to wear I dont think anyone from easyjet will look disapprovingly upon what you consider to be appropriate for a BA interview. I do believe though that easyJet look for those with team working skills above those that know how to apply make up correctly.
