Thank you for your reply pollypocket36 - greatly appreciated!

Her maths. is excellent so that is no problem but (unfortunately?) she shares my views on the relevance of building structures (or animals!???) out of bits of plastic and string...........

Also (being a woman!) she is more concerned about what to wear!!!

Thanks for your other advice - she was offered a position with BMI but sadly (despite previous employment history - as a Cabin Attendant with BA! - obtaining a security pass/ID proved to be "too difficult" since she cannot prove what she has been doing for the past couple of years!!! - i.e. she has been with me and has not had to work ...... apparently in these days of "heightened security" (excuse me while I laugh ) that is not good enough!!! So not sure why it should be any different this time but.............................she is keen to work and fly again!

We live in Spain and so the cost of the interview with flights at short notice and an unavoidable nightstop is going to exceed 300 pounds! Just wondering whether it is worth the risk???
