Nickmelb,(or anyone in the know with EK),
Is there an upper age limit? My girlfriend is thinking of applying. She is 30 in September with 5 years experience (3 as a Senior Cabin Crew) and regular on the company's VIP team. Does anybody what the upper age limit is?
Thanks in advance,I know that my request is a wee bit off topic.

Grrr yea i was

Turned up at 7:30 coz i was told unless i was there early i might not get an interview. Stood around for 2 hours then was asked to form a line where over 400 people were all spoken to, handed in resume's and got name tags. This took another 4 hours then they announced that due to too many people being there that everyone was to leave and come back over the next few days. Sounds fair enough due to the amount of people that were there, but they should have expected that and planned it a bit better. They alocated people days and told me to come back Sunday (today). I dont live in Sydney and it takes me 3 hours to get to the airport. I asked for another day and she said i was being un resonable!!! Every other rude person that lives in Sydney, that rocked up at 9 and left at 12 got to choose a day. But people who travelled a long way they didnt care about.
So i stayed around till 2 and found a girl who swapped days with me. Im going back on Wednesday.....if ive cooled down by then

Emirates Interview

Ok guys and girls, i had my interview with Emirates today, bombed out in the first round, there were alot of people who didnt make it to the next stage, i will give you a run down of the interview. I arrived at 8.30am, and they were late yet again, we didnt get into the room til 9.30 and it should have started at 9am.

Filled out a survey, questions on how did you hear about Emirates, what are the qualites of a crew member, what is customer service etc. Did you like the interview process etc.

then you got split into 5 groups, 1 group stays and they do a activity, the rest come back at the given time which was 30 min.

Example of the question, you are to make a list of 10 professions you would have to make a new city, what would they be, such as doctors, teachers etc, then you have to present it to your the other group (10 in one group) 10 in the other. The other group had some one, they were given 2million to plan a trip of 3 destinations where would you go.

Thats about it, hopefully some one who made it to round 2 can give you's and outline on what round 2 was like.

Good luck to everyone who has interviews on Tuesday and Wed.

Let us all know how you go
Keep your chin up, and dont ever give up

Hi there!

I attended the Wednesday session in Sydney - a long day (9am - 8pm) but such a great experience, was able to meet some very nice people. I was successful through both rounds and am waiting for the recruiters to return to Sydney for final interviews - can't wait.

Cheers!
