So sorry to hear of those that didn't make it to Stage 3. We all know all to well how hard it is. The best thing is to realise that it is nothing personal, it just isn't your time yet, thats all.
It is very upsetting to realise that you havent made it this time, but what is meant to be, is meant to be. As one door closes, another opens.
It's been said before, but you really have to remain positive and keep trying.
Best of luck to all those that are still in the game.
And a big BEST WISHES to you Nickmelb, lets hope that this is it for you.

Persistance!!!
nickmelb & Floaty-
You are both almost the true meaning of "persistance",great attitude, passion, drive, determination & the ability to still have faith and hope for other people.Nickmelb interview number 10 sounds like a good number-they've gotta give it to you after #10 just on pure persistance factor....
I hope to see your next post read SUCCESS!

Hi guys,
All the best for you interview nicmelb. Like wing8 said, they have to give it to you after 10 interviews just out of persistance if anything. Best of luck to floaty aswell. I'm going to mine on wed 11th so am doing alittle study over the next few days to prepare.
After reading some of the replies from people who have already gone through stage 2, it seems like the key element is to have fun and be totally relaxed and be yourself.

hi all,
A good friend of mine attended the group interview and got his rejection letter yesterday - this was his 26TH Flight attendant interview - HONEST. He has tried over and over for years and, for lack of a better word has been kicked in the gux each time.
Now if that is not determination then I don't know what is !

Well i just got my rejection letter, So I might have a severe case of chocalte poisoning tommorow.
On the positive side it was good interview experience, and that was only my 4th flight attendant interview so ill take some insperation from the people who have been through the process so many times, and keep following my dream.
Ill keep my fingers and toes crossed for the rest of you waiting to get to the next stage.
Cheers
I just got my phone call fom staff cv this morning as well, a day after the second round.

You might also add to your list of suggested research.. the hypothesis that the design, development and implementation of many clinical and recruitment instruments (including those used for aviation recruitment) is the result of research by scientists from the profession of Psychology NOT Psychiatry.
I certainly had no particular desire to denigrate that most noble of professions, psychiatry

Hi again,
A close friend of mine who had the phone interview just received an email today thanking him for having the phone interview and that his details would be held for future recruitment due to his inability to attend the stage 2 interview, funny thing is - my friend NEVER EVER received an invite to the 2nd stage.
Anyone else receive the same thing ?

There are those of you who would appear to be under the misguided assumption that the initial stage 1, 15 minute phone interview is being conducted by staffcv. This is not the case, QF have outsourced this to a separate company.

Tues Interview melbourne
Hi guys,
Just like everyone else into the study about QF history etc and working on a few of the standard customer service oriented qus responses.
For anyone that has already been to the second stage how much do you realistically need to know about history of QF etc and aircraft etc- surely theyare more focused on recruiting people who can deliver great c/s and have an ability to work well in a team, rather than people who are walking encyclopedias about QF?
If anyone can shed any light on any of the above I would greatly appreciate it ( before Tues 1300hrs) - I'm getting nervous and excited now! Anyone else going in Melb on Tues?
GOOD LUCK FINGERS CROSSED EVERYONE! QF will benefit from an injection of passsionate and enthusiastic f/a's!
