As a very young and inexperienced steward with the worlds favorite how do I go about getting in with the flight deck? I've just returned from a long haul trip and really found myself attracted to the first officer after spending several evenings in his company, however the flight deck always maintain such a stiff and formal attitude. I believe he is attracted to me as well what should I do ?

Could try wearing shorter skirts than the competition - or stuffing hankies in the bra - or a more powerful perfume that would permeate right through the flight deck door?

I think ExSimGuy may have missed the fact that you are a guy (hence the 'steward') but even so I think his recommendations may be the most fitting. Obviously you are just trying get every insecure homophobic pilot on your case or you just didn't know any better. If you are a woman and were just using the broader sense of the word steward then I would suggest that you reassess your judgement of the FO's feelings towards you. Most pilots would jump all over any FA that displayed the tiniest amount attraction towards them unless they were already committed. (Come on! Hold the laughter down there are some out there with morals! I just don't know any....)

Good Call Kaptin!
Fluffy: The worst thing you could do is betray your interest in front of the rest of the tech crew. If he isn't gay he would be mortified and if he is, the rest of his crew may not know and might give him a very hard time about it. Homophobia exists in all professions and the cockpit is a very small place if the rest of your crew dislike homosexuals.
By contacting him away from the others, he has the opportunity to save face if he isn't interested ( and so do you )
Good Luck.

Pretty Fly, no, I did not mis the point, I'm afraid I was just "winding up" and perhaps being unkindly homophobic.
Serious note - Good point about being discrete and keeping "low profile" as some more severely homphobic than I could get pretty unpleasant.
Good Luck!

Yeah, sorry about that Sim Guy. I wasn't sure if it was tongue in cheek or not... very subtle.
Xwardair,
I was still in school then but my old man might have been driving. Yes, DJC and FUN were(and probably still are) 47's. As for the Wardair Girls... well it wasn't their time they were offering. I've been flying myself now for 12 years and I still haven't seen anything quite like those days.........
