Hi All!!

Hi Everyone,

Noticed That The Room Had Slowed Down A Bit So Thought Id Ask What Everyone's Up To?

To Those Awaiting Responses, Have Any Of You Heard? If Not Please Dont Panic, From What Ive Heard Response Times Vary Due To Notice Periods, Available Start Dates, Paperwork/administrative Procedures, Delays In Medical Results....many Reasons That Have Apparently Been Verified Or Which Have Been Assumed (but Are Just As Likely), So Fear Ye Not!! There Is Hope...stay Occupied And Do The Things You Love...even Simple Things That You May Have Forgotten. Keep An Open Mind And Look Around You - There's So Much Beauty And Inspiration Out There! Let Yourselves Go For A Bit! I Wish You All The Best!

As For Me, Not Much To Report. Today I Went Out Into Town With Some Friends, And Cooked A Smaller Version Of A Traditional Roast Dinner. Im Glad To Report That:
A)it Tasted Good
B)it Looked Edible
C)no One Died Or Disappeared To The Loo Post-consumption
D)we Still Have A Kitchen
E)i Didnt Phone My Mother Once To Ask Anything! (she, However, Like Myself Seems To Have Some Kind Of Psychic Energy Awareness And Phoned To See If "everything Was Alright" - How *does* She Do It?!

I Hope Everyones Had A Wicked Week And Im Looking Forward To Catching Up With You Guys!
I Was Hoping To Jazz Things Up (how 80s Did *that* Sound) With A Funny Story, A Riddle, Something Funky To End This Post And Open Up A Discussion. But Its 2:30am And My Mind Seems To Be Playing With Me. It's Been A Long Time Since Someone Has! (actually It Hasnt, But That'd Be Telling! )

'til The Next Time..............x X X

Keep yourselves occupied guys, don't stress out about QF not calling you straight after your interviews. The more you stress the longer the time will feel.

Thank yourselves lucky you weren't interviewed with Qantas Australia 5 years ago when I was. I waited 11 whole MONTHS from last interview, medical and criminal checks for the phone call (which came while i was in Spain and they gave me 2 weeks to start training).

Bloody Hell!

That really is a long wait Galleychick! Makes me feel a little impatient to say the least! hehe. Its just such a rollercoaster ride, after the getting the phone call to say youve been successful you are so euphoric, and then..................... Nada!
You are right though honey, im gonna try and check my phone less than 3000 times today.

woohoo WildRose congratulations, see it will happen eventually, to the others give it time and don't despair. They can't put everyone accepted into the one class it'd be too large. Congratulations to your sister Off Stand. I'll see both her and WildRose online.

Hi!
I'm coming to the QF assessment day on 11th of Nov. I'm coming from France and I planned to stay for one night at Jurys Inn and I'm looking for a cheaper hotel for another night, around Heathrow or Gatwick. Can anyone give me some advise? Are there any other people from this forum coming on this day? I'm already so so stressed!! I would love to fly with them! Maybe I'll see one of you on this day.

Does anyone know if there is more than one training class per month? 12-14 doesn't seem like very many (but nice small group!)

What a wait...

Wow... exek and wildrose that was like a reality tv show waiting to see who would get eliminated! lol. Congratulations! Hopfully i'll be making a trip to London in the nearish future (1-2 years). Who knows, you could be my flight attendant . Hopfully I'll be working with Qantas Australia within 7 months, although I'm a little unsure of the casual work. Does anyone know how many hours a casual FA does?
Thanks, Aaron
