Hi!
I had a phone call today and I too have been invited to the assessment on 27th May. It was a little out of the blue!
It is for the Cabin Manager position, so if anyone has any details of what I can expect I would greatly appreciate it. I haven't really been told what to expect, basically I am being flown out the day before and coming back the day after! That is all the chap on the phone said.
Any details, please let me know.
Thanks

The Waiting Game
Hey epstein22,
Congratulations on making it through the day. No news certainly is good news. EY seem to email the unsuccessful candidates in the first week or so and then it takes about two - three weeks before they contact the successful ones. I actually couldn't wait anymore and rang them after two weeks.
The wait is shocking but when you get the good news it's all worth it.
Best of luck and try not to drive yourself insane while you're waiting for that email or phone call.
Keep us updated.

Hey there

(I'm smiling as I write this) I'm just waiting for security clearance.
Does anyone know what happens after that?

I applied for emirates but got cut just before the last stage (I was so sad after) they take at least 6 weeks to get back to you. good luck with that one aswell though, emirate do look like a good one to work for.

Hi everyone,
I'm brand new on this site and have been through many of the posts - great stuff.
I've been invited to the open day for Etihad on the 27th. I've applied before for Emirates but wasn't accepted.
Anyone else going on the same day?

Good Day!
Nickvan,
Its so nice to hear from you! Thank you for keeping us updated. Hows the weather there? Anyways, can you comment/ suggest on what things to be brought there, just in case? Is the one you're staying will be your permanent? Keep us posted although you'll be busy these days... Enjoy your training.
TanyaD, when are you going there?

Nervous Nelly
Hi there everyone,
Ive been reading this thread for the past few days...
I had an interview with Etihad last monday (14th May) in melbourne, and made the final stage too!
Im now just waiting to see if i will be accepted!
Im soo nervous, and the days seem to be taking soo long!
Just a quick question, if i was to be successful, when do you think i would start work in Abu Dhabi??
Its great to see soo many Aussies on here...i do hope we will be working togather at a later stage!
Many thanks,
Melboy
p.s....Nickvan, is it true that the uniforms are Armani, and that the shoes are Ferragamo???
