Hey everyone,
I attended the assessment day in Sydney on 12/5. I just don't understand what Kim and her gal pals are looking for! The invitation states to "wear business attire" and there were some people that made it through to the next round who were wearing jeans, jumpers, flat shoes, thong-like shoes, basically not interview-like attire, unkept hair etc. I know for a fact there were girls who had trouble filling out their application form upon arrival as English was not there first language but somehow they managed to pass the English test. I"m sure they would have struggled with it. Ironically, the majority of people that didn't pass thru to the next round, really looked like flight attendants already. I spoke to a few of them and they really fit the part. Some had previous cc experience and one was currently a f/a. I find it odd that they were not selected.
I wish you all well in your job...you are all really lucky and are blessed!

Hey Ozziegirl,
Good to hear you made it through. I really wanted to make the Brisbane Open Day but unfortunately wasn't able to. Did many people show and do you have an idea of how many went through. Hopefully they will be back one day soon and I will get another shot at it.
Wishing you luck

You say you have 6 years with QR. to be honest with the demand that EY have for crew at the moment, you will be in. Not only do QR have such a good reputation for hospitality and customer service, you've been there for 6 years, it shows you have lived in the area before and know what it's like. I dont see any reason for Ey to refuse you employment, unless you have lost an arm in the last few days!!! Are you going for Purser or cabin crew? and do u have to pay for the flight to AUH?

Hey everyone
I found this site though my search engine and was pleasantly suprised to see so many others in my position all over the world.
I had an assesment day on 2nd may, felt it went went really well and was told I would hear back with in two weeks.
I've been staring at my phone everyday since to no avail.
I know wnother girl had an email back over a week ago, I was sad for her but at the same time relived that I never heard anything.
Anyhoo it's now day 16 since the interview and still nothing.....Im scared.
