easyJet Training Crew Meals?
Very boring question, but are any meals provided during training at LTN. Staying in a hotel for a month, not having a kitchen and therefor having to buy fastfood and restaurant food for a whole month will be very expensive.

I'd be very, very surprised if meals are provided - they certainly aren't at BA but there is a "subsidised" canteen.
I'd suggest getting a fridge from the hotel (most have small fridges they'll put in your room) and buying in stuff to make your own lunch (sarnies etc).
I was spending close to £20.00 a day on breakfast, lunch and dinner while doing my training with BA - it certainly makes a huge dent in your finances.

Pack a few Pot Noodles in your case, check with the hotel that they have a kettle you can use or facility in the hotel for hot water, check out the local area for supermarkets and takeaway joints.
Pack some cereal bars in case of an emergency (ie, lack of time to go out looking for food, midnight munchies, breakfast on the run, etc)
Take some fresh fruit and dried fruit which will last for the best part of the week, just to keep some nutrition in your diet.
Alternatively, grab a training colleague to go for a pizza after work.
Enjoy your training!

Meals Training LTN
Hello,
I called a while ago the training Department about the accomodation during the course.
It will most probably take place at the **** Hotel, next to Luton Airport.
I wonder whether the "shared rooms" are equipped with a kitchen because only the breakfast is included in the rate...
Is there any chainstore in the area ?

Not CC, but in my travels I've been in various situations where grub wasn't provided.
There have been some good suggestions previously in this thread. The easiest option is the fridge/sarnie one. If you're a long stay IE one month, then hotels are usually quite ameanable to little extras. You could even ask for a microwave, if you get one of those then you're away as regards hot grub. Don't do TV dinners etc, but omelettes, crunchy veggies, hot dogs etc etc.
If the breakfast is buffet style, then make use of a doggy bag for stuff like bread, bangers, tomatoes etc.....

There is an Asda less than 5 minutes drive from The easyJet academy, so you are best off going there and stocking up on some food. The chippy across from there is quite good too.

My other half works at EZY, the shared room was quite intimate, just your usual hotel room with TV and kettle. Everyone munched pot noodles for the course, the Ibis does meals but they're a bit steep and not that good. Your ID you get for training gets you a discount at the airport, you can also goto the Asda and stock up there.

easyJet will not be providing you with meals during training, but they do when you are flying. You may wonder why it's like that, well you can buy food on the ground quite easily, but you can't pop down to the local KFC when at 38,000 feet.
The Ibis has no cooking facilities in rooms whatsoever - it's a hotel (barely!) not a flat. You have to look after yourself on training when it comes to meals, so make sure you go to the Asda or the Whistlestop at the terminal and stock up on food stuffs.

If you want to stay at the hotel during your days off, you can. They charge a total of GBP160 for the entire 4 weeks. This is debited from your salary in monthly installments.
Well I suppose the only other one would be uniform if I'm not missing anything else.
