WEIGHT & CC ...britannia...

HI PEOPLE,
SOME OF U KNOW ME ALREADY...
I HAVE A BIG QUESTION THAT IS PERTURBING ME SINCE I VE PASSED THE FIRST 2 ASSESMENTS 4 BRITANNIA 4 DAYS AGO!
WELL I M OVERWEIGHT, I M 165 cm PER 70kg.
AND I THINK THAT I WONT MAKE THROUGH THE 1TO1 INTERVIEW DUE TO MY WEIGHT
I VE MORE THAN 2 YEARS IN CUSTOMER CARE EXPERIENCE PLUS I WAS AN HOLIDAY REP FOR 2 YEARS AND I SPEAK 5 LANGUAGES, LET S FACE IT, IF I WOULD BE SKINNY I WOULD NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM TO PASS THE INTEVIEW but... I AM NOT!!!
WHAT DO U PEOPLE RECKON? WOULD I MAKE IT OR NOT?
AND IS THERE ANYONE THAT WORKS FOR BRITANNIA ON HERE?

THANKS

If your weight was an issue why pass you on two assessments and give you a 1 to 1 interview? I am sure they must be screening hundreds of people at their open days and why waste your time and theirs with doing a 1 to 1 if you do not meet their criteria...when they could have an ideal opportunity of turning you down at assessment stage..If it was an issue for them I think you would not have got this far

Hi All

I was one of ther fortunate ones who was able to have the interview at the time.

They ask you all sorts of stuff, ie give an example where you have given excellent customer service, give an example when you have felt that you could not have done any more for a customer, and how you would do things differently next time, they also ask you about targets and if you have worked with them, and how you found it....etc etc...but very customer service focused.

Am sure you will be both ok. I got told that I would hear within 2 weeks of the interview - im still waiting !!!! but they did say that if I didnt hear anything b4 wednesday then to call them !!
We shall see
Good luck to you both for the interview, am sure your will be both fine.

Hi All
Just to let you know that I called BY today - as I had not heard anything further.
They advised that everyone would have a letter by Monday.

They have been really short staffed in HR at Luton, hence the delay in letters being sent out !

Let is all know when you hear

In the meantime - take care
