Hey Chudley,

Yeah the uniform fitting is fun, but it doesnt take too long. They said ill be getting:

2 suits
4 shirts
2 pairs of shoes (1 high pair and some flats)
2 scarfs
1 belt
1 winter jacket
1 cardigan
2 aprons (at least i think it was 2!)
1 handbag
1 pair of earings
1 money bag (and a little pouch that you have to keep on your belt at all times)
1 pair of gloves
1 travel bag (for taking on the plane)

and i think thats about it! ha ha ha... you get loads! It makes the whole job seem more real once you've tried the uniform on! I hope you enjoy it!

August 18th Interview

Hi everyone! this is a really helpful website, so thanks for everyone who has posted. I have an interview on august 18th and although I can't wait it's hard not to feel nervous! For those of you who have had interviews recently what did you have to do in the group interview and roughly how many people attend the interview? I wore a trouser suit in my application photo...is it best to stick with that at the interview? Also in terms of group exercises are they looking more at how you interact with each other rather than the outcome of whatever you have to do?

I've just graduated from uni and this is the only thing I want to do. I have wanted to do this since I was 5 years old and I just hope I get it because it means everything to me. I'm working 9-5 at the mo but I hate that routine...I love working hours that are always different because I hate having a fixed routine all the time.

Do most people get turned away after the group interview...or does it just depend? Do they check every single reference you give...what do they ask your friends?

Sorry to ask so many questions!

xx oh anyone else got an interview on the same day?!

Hi! Welcome!
I have participated into the recruitment day in Hong Kong, my home. Though the interview is slightly different in Australia, UK or HOng Kong, it's nutritious for all CC wannabe to read though this and the thread "Virgin Blue Recruitment". The style and tips to make it through to the final stage of interview, is somehow similar.

Cheers for the chance coming! Bless you!!!

Hope I would see you on the flight! I am waiting... patiently for the results! Wish me good luck.

Hi Snolly. The training course lasts 6 weeks and it consists of customer service,Avmed (aviation medicine) and S.E.P which is the safety side of it.Most people find s.e.p the hardest but if you put the study time in then you would be ok.All in all it can be draining but also fun.Its worth all the hard work you put in.Hope this answers your question

Not long now!

Hi All,

I haven't had chance to come on here for a while. Congratulations to all the people who have found out they have the job.. I start my training next Monday. Tomorrow is my last day at my current job and I am sad, nervous but mostly excited! I really can't wait to start now. My best friend is already cabin crew for Virgin and since I have been offered the job, every trip she goes on I get very jealous! She has just come back from a 2 night trip in Vegas where they hired out convertible porches and drove around everywhere virtually.. I think Vegas is her favourite trip!

I have completed my e-learning. It isn't that bad, for anyone who hasn't started it yet. You have to get over 80% to pass and then you print off your certificate. You also have to do one on the induction. But for some reason it didn't register that I had completed it - so I called the support line and they said that you don’t get a certificate for that one and it didn't matter, as long as I had completed it..

Is there anyone else who is starting on the 14th? I know Michelle and Camilla are (I can't wait to meet you both and be at the accommodation together).. If you read this before Sunday - I will text you both and see what time we are going to meet!!

Anyway - best be off!!

Take Care

Sally xx
