I had sent my application to emirates and there is an assessment day in my country at the end of July. When will i get the invitation email if i am successful?
Is it prior near to the assessment date?

Hi,

do not lose hope until the week before if your application is complete. It can be anytime before AD. I received the invitation 16 days prior to OD. You will see your status will read Under review after the invitation email.

You don't have to receive any confirmation for the documents you have sent them by email. And if I remamber well, on the cover of the file wich was given to you before the FI, you can find a phone number.

You will start your medicals after the GC.

I'm not aware of any "new" policy.

E-mail to the Cabin Crew Service Center and ask for a rejoining form. Send it back and they will contact you. The process takes 3-4 months.

Hopefully, you got "recommended for re-joining" on your file when you resigned.

I think you can keep your old grade if you re-join in 1 year but you loose your staff number.

I have only 2 days to my AD- 11th june Nairobi, Kenya, and just discovered this forum.I must say you are all amazing! I had no crew of what to expect but thanks to all your genuine questions and answers, i feel i am ready.
Talk of being invited without expecting, I made my application on February and forgot all about it only to check my mail and emirates account and see my invitation. I was so excited, and i believe lets do our part and God will do the rest, thats my motto.
I have a question though, during application i uploaded my photos, do i have to carry other photos during the assessment day?

Hi. Hope you are doing great. I am also going for the Nairobi AD on 11th June. As for the AD you do not need to carry your photos. They are for the Final Interview which I hope we both get through. :)

Aqqwa, Thanks for the good luck wishes. We hope for the best as well. Last time I had an AD, I applied two months before hand and got it a month to the AD. This time after I registered I got my invite in three days.So it varies...But I think you can only lose hope when its a couple of days to the AD.

Nope thats not the procedure.. If you want to get an invitation for an AD you have to apply to online. and as for OD you don't need an invitation

Hi everyone!

I would just like to inquire about the Cabin Crew Assessment Day for Emirates on July 30 and Aug 3 in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. I am from the Philippines and I am planning to attend any of the two Assessment Days so I would like to ask if anyone here knows if the SASS atlantic agency will be entertaining applicants from other countries? I would also like to ask there will be language proficiency requirements in selecting those who will be shortlisted to attend the Assessment Days like the requirement for their AD in Hong Kong?

I've been trying to email SASS Atlantic but the email address on their website seems to be invalid since my email just bounces back. :confused:

The thing is that I applied for AD in Bucharest on the 18th of June, and today I got email letting me know that there open days in dublin, where i currently live.
They didn't invite me to Bucharest AD. If I attend the OD in Dublin and I'm successful will they send me invitation for AD or I can choose which one I want to attend.

prinseza - EK does not have the option of choosing the countries to attend the AD unlike Etihad.. if you attend an OD in Dublin and let's say you get through you need to attend it in Dublin too.

I wonder if there is an OD scheduled, why there isn't any AD listed on the Emirates site (same city).

Does any of you guys have an idea if we're required to do a new DENTAL X-RAY, after we have replaced the old fillings with the new ones? I mean, the number of the teeth is still the same http://www.cabincrew.com/ccnetwork/smileys/smiley4.gif, just new fillings and two additional tooth-fillings done. And, what about the medical tests on our arrival? Do we have to repeat them all, or ... ?

prinseza - yes usually if you are successful in the OD the same day you will receive a call/email to let you know the date of the AD and if you pass all the steps on that day then you will get another date for your final interview and then you need to wait from 4 to 6 weeks to get the successful (by call) or unsuccessful (by email) answer. it is longer process compare to Etihad.

easyman82, I do know it is different from Etihad. Not comparing them, just wanna know what is the exact procedure. I have a flight to my country on the 11th and I need to change the ticket. I wanted to know the date for the AD so I can change the ticket.
The waiting part I know about it.
Emirates recruit many more people comparing to Etihad, so it is normal to take longer.
If I got correctly there are 3 dates- OD, AD and final interview.
Are they within a week or so?

The agent that organize the ek interview ,which is Sass normally take female mandarine speaker only.it's happened couple of time here in malaysia whereby the applicant from around asian came without knowing what was requirement of the agent,and they got sent back. I can give you their number if you want and you can call them to ask .please check with them before attending ,or it's gonna a waste of money and time .
