Confused.
Hi everyone.I have been placed in talent pool for Akld base since mid June.
The email after i submitted my swim cert said i have been placed in talent pool and will be contacted as soon as ground school date is confirmed for Akld base.
What really is the talent pool?Should i take it as good news?
Anybody else here waiting for Akld base as well?

Absolutely everyone goes into the talent pool 😌 You can be in it for up to a year before they have a ground school ready for you to attend

Has anyone heard back from the MEL AD just been? I know some people hear back a couple of days later sometimes

Hi there!
Yes I was at the 1pm session! They told me 2 weeks, but I just received an email about an hour ago telling me I have been progressed onto the online testing part!!!

From what I have read on this forum though, they can contact you at any point within the two weeks with the good news

Have you had any reply yet?

Nope nothing yet! But on my assessment day they mentioned the next one may potentially be around November so it might be a few months yet! When did you have your AD?
