Received by ACIC
When was your application received by ACIC? I am just trying to calculate how far behind mine is
ACIC received my application on the 18th of July - still waiting on the last 2 ticks..Now that yours is complete have you heard more information from QANTAS on the ground school starting on the 27th? - that is the one they offered me as well, fingers crossed my security clears in time.

The last time I heard from Qantas was a phone call back in May, saying that they might have a place for me in a July or August school. I highly doubt that I will be placed in the 27th August GS, if that one is going ahead. Any other info I have is whatever fellow applicants have posted here on the forum.

Mine was submitted on the 16th it July and I am awaiting the last two green ticks. My medical is complete, Won’t be too much longer now 😊

Thank you!!! Let's see, ACIC received my application on 29/6 and the ACIC result was received on 4/8. Final Qantas check received 14/8.

Does anyone currently in Sydney or someone needing to relocate for ground school have any rooms to rent short term possibly long term? I’m in qld and may have to let go of my house on hold in Bondi because I don’t yet know If I will be in the school on the 27h of August, hard to hold a house when you don’t know when your moving. Perhaps we could team up and find something? I’m open to ideas and suggestions. Private message me if you can help or offer advice, greatly appreciated 🙏🏼

Hey Flying11, how do you know you're Sydney based? I was also offered the 27th of August groundschool, but they said they couldn't tell me the base until I sign the contract - which I am still waiting for them to send! I put down Melbourne or Sydney base - currently living in Melbourne 😊

I am most likely Sydney based but not guaranteed, it’s what they will endeavour to accommodate, although depending on business requirements it could be elsewhere
