HI Guys. It went well we were about 30. Ranging from 20-60 mainly female. Collection of docs, presentation by company, then we had 3 assessors at each table we had to introduce ourselves and describe a destination we liked and why. They collected our folders with the filled in paperwork. We left the room for about 10 minutes. Obviously the assessors were discussing us the candidates. The we had a group activity, 2;1 interview with approx.. 7 questions these are scored. Then lastly we had a very easy written comprehension test.
Assessors everywhere observing every move and your interaction with the others. QF put it very well. They said they are after the X factor. You cant prepare for this as such. You will need to have this role virtually as part of your DNA. Competition is fierce. Now waiting to see how I go. I consider myself lucky to have gotten this far. They also made it VERY CLEAR proceeding to reference checks does not mean an offer/you got the job. Just part of the process. Hope this helps!!

I think the X factor is just that, something some people have for that particular role. Its who you are, something you cant learn, teach yourself or study. Everybody were very nice. My suggestion is to be the real you. You cant fake it all day anyway. They will eventually see if you fake it. Just be yourself and if you are a nice warm bubbly person show it. Good luck. Let us know how you go. Getting this far is a HUGE achievement in itself. I know a few people working for QF, not as cabin crew but in customer service and they didn't even get an AD. Now is your time to shine. They have already seen something in you.

Any updates with INTERNAL CC applicants?
Hi All!
Has anyone heard anything further on INTERNAL Cabin Crew applicants for QF Intl?
its now been over 2 months since I applied ... and I am just so curious as to what is happening - especially with external applicants being offered GS dates!
Thanks!

I’m the same.. haven’t heard a thing.. I’m so happy for the externals, but I’m starting to loose hope there are space for us internals 😢 is just love to hear what our next step is - do we do video interviews, or assessment days? So much speculation makes it hard to prepare for..

Thats actually incorrect. SYD is not even close to being completed. There is 11 AD in SYD. Then the next base of the rank is MEL. BNE is not scheduled until later in the year.

Any news?
Hi everybody! I'm new here and am currently in the recruitment process for Qantas as an international cabin crew based in Sydney. I did my medical exam today whilst still in the process of my background check.
It seems like I only have 1 more cross that needs to be ticked off before the final results. I received a call from Qantas last week to book in my medical exam for today and during the call, she said if both my background and medical checks are successful, I will be attending ground school on the 1st of July (She gave me three dates in which I can choose from - 1st of June, 1st of July or 11th of July)
I chose the 1st of July so that gives me time to save some money for rent during my time in training. I did, however, called Qantas today to clarify if we get paid during ground school. She didn't sound too confident (as she wasn't apart of Talent Acquisition) but she said more than likely if we are offered employment before ground school. On lower rates/minimum rage of course. I wouldn't rely on that information too much as she isn't part of the department, but I thought contracts/employments will be offered after training? Does anybody know?
Also, does anybody know if we'd need to obtain First Aid certificate before ground school?

Hey, just checking to see how everything went? Did you get an official offer?
