Hi guys and gals this is my first post here having gone through this thread i found it very
helpful so a big thanks to everyone who posted, I was wondering if someone could give me any info about my situation. I had my final interview on the 4th of feb in Dublin and my status changed to approval in progress and has been like this for a few weeks now, some of the people who was in my group have got their GC i have not recivied a rejection email as of yet and it has been 6 weeks now and it is killing me can totaly understand how everyone feels about the wait its a nightmare anyways if you could provide any info that would be fantastic put me out of my misery

my status changed to AIP a couple of days after my FI, then 5-6 weeks later I got the infamous rejection mail.
I know people whos status read AIP for 7-8 weeks and their got their GC after all, so dont loose hope.
I know the feeling, I was sick and tired of waiting. but it is way better waiting then getting the reject mail believe me.

I received today an email from them.Which said that they received all my pending documents and my file has been sent to dubaļ...

If yes,then can u plz tell me abt screening about bengali language in Emirates..are they conducting any test(written)..or it's just they talk to u in bengali??
If U know this..plz lemme know yaa..it's li'l urgent..!!
And IF u r not even Indian..then u won't know wot in world I am talking about..!

im good. Thank you. Is it an OD/AD YOUR attending TO or a cv submission?I know what you mean. Well i aint sure about any bengali test that you ought to give. Once you are selected after your initial cv submission/OD they have a group discussion a written test in english along with an essay to check your language skills and your arm reach test.
Since you are a bengali i belive thats an annexed preference to your languages your know to.i would suggest you to check with any collegues that you know who have been there before.

Hi people! It's been a long time... though I'm always reading the thread!
Well, next month I'm trying again, there's an AD on April 22nd in Buenos Aires so I'll be taking my vacations there and hopefully going to the OD.
Thing is I'm a little nervous because of my tattoos, if anyone here remembers I'm undergoing laser removal since last year and I'm not finished yet. Seems that it will need one more session. My plan is to have it in two weeks (beggining of April) and go to the OD-AD the 22nd...
If everything goes as it's supposed to, I can have one more session before joining EK. Do you people think it'll be ok?

Hey Berber3, we are in the same situation, my status changed from under review to AIP 10days ago. it took about 3weeks before it changes. Im so worry about what will happen after this. its my 5th weeks of waiting , I hope both of us will get a good news

Tattoos must not be visible at all ,for women or men whlie wearing uniform , must not be covered with make-up , watch , ring, plasters .Do not lie and try cover it up if you are found out you will be sent home .

proud mum Yes you're right, that's why I'm having it completely removed before joining, I would hate to get to Dubai and be kicked out because of a tattoo!
