I got an email from EK regarding to Appendix 2 of medical form, question #1 was not ticked off. So I resent it...now again i am waiting for the final approval and confirmation from EK to move my DOJ to may.

leemarlon - The same happened to me~!!
Hey marlon, I got an email from the CC joiners couple of days ago, also regarding Question 1 in Appendix 2 being unanswered and requiring me to fill it in. They then asked me if my medical is approved, whether I am still able to join on 18th. Anyhow, I still haven't got my final approval yet tho. Now I'm back on the waiting period 
.... Lol... Hopefully everything would be fine. I can't wait to start~ All the best to you and hopefully yours would goes well too. Time flies so fast, the day will arrived without we actually realizing it

Thats so funny because I got the same email...hehe..I thought that question was to remain unticked for some reason...!Ah well, at least we re all sorted now!My DOJ of is 9th May, hopefully some ppls in here are going for the same date

I have requested to change my DOJ to either May 9 or 16...hopefully they will sort that out for me. Because I need to serve 1 month of notice period and therefore April 18 is impossible for me to join the company. Still no news yet, but I will be fine.

A question for you all
I'm undergoing all the medicals, I have a question, I have 2 missing teeth (numer 2 on the right and on the left in the upper side of the mouth) and I did an othodontical treatment 10 years ago to fill the missing teeth with my natural teeth, I mean now I don't have any visible gaps in the front area of my smile, the dentist specify that thing on the dental report, and he wrote that I did this othodontical treatment and that now I don't have visible gaps even I didn't fill them with crown or bridgeworks but with my natural teeth, do you think that they will acept this thing? I'm really scared that they won't understand the orthodontical treatment that I have done... I also have the dental xray report on which is written the same thing that the dentist wrote on the dental checklist...
If they will be in trouble with my smile they could check my photos don't you think?

Thank you nickedo , I'm sooo stressed, I had to wait for 2 months to get the approval after the FI now I'm just afraid that something wouldn't be right with my medicals... Generally I'm an easygoing and relaxed person, I don't now why I'm behaving like that now!

Hey Shinners.. No Worries!
Last year I failed my final interview and this year I tried again! .. time goes so fast! We were about 100 in my home town at the begining and for the final interviews we were about 20!! that's a lot, I think! JUST WONDERING IF IT IS THE SAME IN OTHER COUNTRIES..
anyway, I just wanna say try again, last year I felt terrible, specially cause after a FI you expect a lot, but now I think that the whole situation gave me some more experience and hopefully this year I did it better!

Our FI people had more than 20 ppl, out of 160+ who turned up for the open day so I think thats pretty common- depends on how many turn up in each city I guess Best of luck!

hey again guys,
i got a friend who i met during my FI. she was one of the other finalists and she told me that she gotthe golden call yesterday around 11 am and her DOJ 30th May. i was not keeping my hopes that high but emirates calling people in same day or occasionally?

Hey Serdarh, you still have a good chance. No news means good news As long as you don't received an email (rejection normally via emails), a call should be coming your way. I think your friend who got her result so early is purely lucky because most of us have to wait for more than 4 weeks or more to get our golden call. So don't give up your hopes just yet. Being patient with the recruiters is the way to go

Finally!!
I finally got a call from Dubai.
This lady calls me before 6AM when I was still asleep, asking me if I could leave in April.
Come on, it's April already, I still have to do my medicals and really get ready!
I pushed it back to May 23.
Anybody here from Toronto leaving to Dubai?
I didn't get to contact anybody from my assessment day after...
Please contact me. I would love to talk to some people before I leave.
