Hi Rachael87,

I'm fairly new here too so don't worry everyone's nice. . Congrats on your interview, i've got mine tomorrow & i'm so nervous. WW means WorldWide meaning Longhaul i.e caribbean, australia, etc. Anyway good luck & i'll let you know how I get on.

Congrats on your interview too!

My mum said it might mean worldwide but i thought that might be too simple a meaning.. apparently not! Least i know now.

How much have you prepared for your interview? I want to do everything possible to get this job (hair and nails re-done for the looks side of it haha..and a lot of prep for the "sell yourself" side)

Good luck tomorrow!

Thanks for that. I've been practising possible interview questions, i've had my hair & eyebrows done and my nails are short and got clear nail polish on them. I had acrylic nails until recently but decided to let them have a breather because i have been getting my nails done for years and they are slightly damaged. Anyway don't practice too much or you could have a mental block. . x

It has two meanings, either World Wide or Willie Walsh who is our CEO at the moment.

Good luck with your interviews

hi londonphilou,

I'm on the 4th Feb start, so counting down the days now. Went for my uniform fitting the other day, think it finally sunk in then!! Must admit the tie is a bit naff

You'll be starting at T5 then, I'll have a couple of weeks checking in at Compass i think then it's all change.

Lhr Ww 10.03.2008

HiyaI am looking too!! Proving a bit difficult this early on though but registered with a few flatshare sites. Also one of the others mentioned cabin crew house at lhr. If you put that into google it comes up with the info... about 25 squid per night but looks nice. Gonna use that as a last resort as over the 6 weeks approx really gets expensive !!

Tell me about it!! I have seen an agency that finds places for cabin crew short term for £90 a week which I thought looked ok....

Are you working for BA as well?

I'm not a complete retard you know, i was just double checking the meaning.

And also, it didn't mention WW on the application, hence my asking here and not googling it or researching in other places. I read it first on here, and therefore i asked about it.

Angel sweetmissy, vodkaholic & portugal

Hi guys

I had my interview today & it was not as bad as I thought It would be actually. I tried to answer every question the best I could so I hope I did ok. I tried my best, was entirely myself & that's all you can do at the end of the day. They said they would contact me in 5-7 working days with the outcome. If successful, a possible start date could be as early as March. So fingers crossed. Good luck to you guys, keep me posted. x

ENOUGH!!!

Folks,

This forum is intended for working Cabin Crew: Some time ago it was nearly over run with wannabees, and for that reason the wannabee threads were established to be a source of information for those seeking recruitment. It would seem that the wannabee threads are now being used for a sort of social networking function instead.

You need to be very clear on this - If your post does not contain concrete fact about the recruitment then it has no business on PPRuNe - anywhere: This means that any of the following stuff is not to be posted...

Facebooks, blogs, I'm so happy for you, woohoo I got it, wish me luck, send me a PM, msn me, will you be at the interview, follow your dreams etc. etc. All of this should be done by PM on PPRuNe (if you must - we'd rather that you didn't use our server space for it) or by Text Message - in fact do it anyway that you want - BUT DON'T POST IT ON A THREAD.

End of the 11 month temp Cpntract

At the end of the 11 month temp contract they are offering L/H Cabin crew from LHR..... how llikely is it that you would be kept on? do you get given to Euro Fleet, or sent to LGW.. or just given a P45 and a thankyou!?

Any help would be greatfully recieved.
