Apparently they have 2,500 more applications to process and there seems to be only 3 more classes of 21 each left.

So I reckon they will have filled all the positions before they get to everyone That was on cabincrew.com any ways

Got an email last night saying that I was not successful, but due to the amount of applicants, they couldn't tell me exactly why...

I guess now isn't the right time for me, but congratulations/good luck to those who did hear something positive

Passenger Services - So hard to get work!

I came back about a month ago from America, having worked for a year there in Passenger Services for a ground handler on VS. Since coming back home it seems like there is nothing much in Passenger Services available. I applied with VS and weirdly was not even shortlisted for interview. And a ground handler disqualified me from applying because I did not currently reside in the UK, even though I said in my application it was willing to relocate to the UK if successful! I'm completely open to working anywhere yet I can't seem to find anything. Anyone know where is hiring?

Angel

GVHOT.

BA will be soon for external applicants for main crew on there new Mixed Fleet. Log on to BA.com.
Go to the very bottom of the page and click on Careers. Then click on customer service option and eventually click on Mixed Fleet. Just had a look and for main crew you can register your email address and they let you know when recruitment starts. Hope that is helpful to all you hopefuls.

Virgin Atlantic cabin crew

I would appreciate it is someone can advise me. Is there any change of getting past the application stage if I have not worked for 3 years? During this period of time I went travelling, completed a PPL and studied for my first block of ATPL exams.

Hello everyone,
Ive got my assessment day tommorrow for Virgin Atlantic Cabin Crew. Was wondering if anyone had any tips on the interview day, and any of the one to one interview questions they remember?

rather Off-thread, but any other previous V.A. CC re-apply and not get interview?

Sorry to be slightly off thread, but just wondered if anyone else had previously worked for VA as Cabin Crew, had left (been laid off?) re-applied and not even gotten an A.D.? I flew for a year with VA back in 2007, but had to leave for personal (& particularly :financial reasons): I decided to re-apply when they opened up recruitment again recently, did all the online assessments, then had to do the "personality" tests.... a couple of days later I received an email saying that my application was being taken no further! Maybe it's my ego, but quite frankly I was amazed: in the period since leaving, I was headhunted by various Luxury Brands, & have been working very successfully in customer services/sales for possibly the MOST prestigious Luxury retail brand worldwide; and whilst flying, I never failed to receive fantastic feedback from my peers/fellow crew...and garnered some wonderful assessments etc. Any other past crew re-apply and suffer the same insult? I'd be interested to hear.
