Current Pay And Conditions

I was looking for some recent and up-to-date info on current salaries and working conditions in the biz sector. PPJN seems a little out dated.
Current rosters, sby days, salaries etc

Looking for info from pilots who operate many international flights on CL604 and bigger aircraft

Any onfo would be appreciated

65 Views and NO answers; that tells us quite alot about the experience level in this forum!

Freelance rate of 400 Euro's per day + 40 Euros's per diem.

This attracts a 10 day - 14 day Fix per month, but requires pretty much 24 / 7 / 365 availability.

I hope this helps.. Please grab any job you can - there really are SO few opportunities these days!

That must surely be for FO!? And I guess your recurrents are paid for you - theres no way that cost could be recouped only charging 400e per day.

Or that not many people here freelance on Challengers.

Freelance rate of 400 Euro's per day + 40 Euros's per diem.
On a Challenger? Waaaaay off.

BigNumber,

If you double your rates (and Per Diems) then you are just about in the right place

My goodness; guess I was working on the wrong side of the tracks!!!

Numbers are correct for the operation quoted sadly (on the larger types).

The Citation rates ( my ex gig ) numbers were even lower.. 300 Euro per day

However, glad to see the market is willing to pay you boy's properly.

Should add; that a reasonable fix of days per month (circa 14) probably lowers the rates slightly?

Possibly a help to the thread starter?

Info on PPJN shows VJ paying Euros 70K Gross before tax for Challenger P1.

Reading the foot-notes on roster this would also seemingly require very very high availability / flexibility.

Hope this helps.

Perhaps it might be more accurate to say 'request' (they can ask all they like) very, very high availability and flexibility as that's still below the going rate for a Challenger captain.

Then again if that's based on the island of Europe as opposed to the (main) island of the UK salaries are always a bit lower there anyway

Yep,
agreed.

VJ is one of the lower paying companies out there and not really representative of Challenger pay.
