Mike, I will attempt to keep this proper.... like.

Were you a teacher in your previous job ?

I can only assume that the Direct Fly Poland guy is someone connected to Direct Fly Poland, replying to a post about money owed by Direct Fly Poland, If that makes sense.(see hijinks77 post above)

"International Traveller" Jibe number 2 (Not all Irish are travellers) but I am sure I could get you a good price on getting your driveway tarmacked boss.
Not sure where you got that from. I do not sell myself as anything, If you call Ireland to England international.

I am sure in the real world you're a really nice guy.

Case adjourned on the 14th as he claimed that an affadavit drawn up while he was out of the country did not contain all information and now requires re-submission. New date to be set.

Wonder how long the ducking and diving can continue?

Crowther update

From Leasing Life

News

Hitachi and Kaupthing in jet seizure battle

At a time when law firms are reporting a significant rise in corporate aircraft seizures,
it has emerged that Hitachi Capital and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander are locked in a repossession battle over jets linked to Paul Crowther, a well known figure in the world of private jet chartering.
Hitachi Capital has seized two planes mortgaged by Crowther, an entrepreneur who formerly worked in the yacht chartering business before he set up a string of corporate jet chartering companies, several of which have entered administration over recent months.
The Hitachi mortgaged aircraft, a Cessna Citation II model 551 aircraft with registration G-LUXY and a Beech E90 with the registration number G-ORTH, were seized after Crowther missed rental payments on the two jets.
Austin Smith, the head of aviation at Hitachi Capital Business Finance, declined to comment.
Meanwhile, the future of another aircraft linked to Crowther, a Cessna 550 with registration G-SOVA, is believed to be uncertain. According to Companies House records, this jet is on mortgage from Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander and the owner is Mitre Aviation Ltd, a company owned by Crowther. Mitre’s parent, Maritime Atlantic Ltd, is linked to Maritime House, a business centre and large yachting marina based in Hove.
General Capital, the leasing and venture finance company, is a major creditor of PlaneChartering, one of Crowther’s companies currently in administration.
Crowther used PlaneChartering, which has operations at Biggin Hill Airport and also Cannes and is described as an aircraft operator and flight broker, to acquire a company called Club 328 in October 2007.
Club 328 was wound-up at Brighton County Court on July 11 2008 after a petition for this to happen was signed by around 30 creditors. The petition was brought by Club 328's former CEO, Elaine Young.
Crowther meanwhile faces a string of claims by people linked to his jet aircraft businesses, including entrepreneur Karl Watkin, who has lodged a claim against Crowther in the High Court in London.
A report on the state of the corporate jet finance sector is to be published in the October issue of Leasing Life

Yorkshire_Airways,

Makes for interesting reading in relation to your last post. You had previoulsly some time ago raised the issue surrouding a Bradford number. Stragely enough you may recall that at the time I commented that you were incorrect as the area code was 01273 not 01274.

It appears that at some point since then the area code has now changed to 01274 on the website.

If you call it you get some voice mail for a woman called Sharon Dickinson. Guess thats actually a direct dial for this woman who ever she is. Bet she knows nothing about PC !!

Games again ???

According to his website, PC has now moved into the repossessions business:

Repossesions

Interestingly he is "monitoring"

2 x Citation 550/551 Jet Aircraft (1982/1990) currently owned and being offered by UK banks.

It is ironic that his experience with repossesions seem to be mainly on the receiving end!

Ah, but I would understand there might be a new allegiance forming with Global Flight Solutions at Biggin Hill.

GFS is 'headed up' by Mr Paul Forster formerly of 'Amber Aviation' and 'the childrens air ambulance'. The rotary types will be in the know on this one.

Mr Crowther...yet again

"Also involved in leasing and operations of 1 x Dornier 328 Jet, 2 x Hawker 800B jets, 2 x Premier 1 Jets)"

He forgot to say he failed on repayments for all these aircraft and their maintenance and dumped them at airports all over the south of England ....just before he sacked all the crews without payment.

Paul Crowther

All I would say about Paul Crowther/Direct Fly is DON'T use him - I booked a flight for my Managing Director a couple of years ago and PC/DF let us down at the last minute, promised to refund the £11,000 I paid but didn't - we have taken them to court, won the case but can still not get the money from them - we are waiting to see what the official receiver can do!!

Now understood to be the driving force behind AvTech Aviation at Biggin Hill, predictable pattern emerging of unpaid bills, staff leaving, small court claims for money owing.
If you are a supplier of materials or services, or considering having maintenance carried out there be very carefull, the company has floated on the Polish stock exchange, if you happen to be reading this in Poland you are advised to get your zlotys out sharpish before the inevitable collapse.
