Hi 05pearcj

Has anyone ever told you (I suspect not) that you are so wet behind the ears you are positively inclement !!!! What possible experience can you bring to such a debate as this that can even be considered either useful or constructive ? You will no doubt throw your toys out of your pram and be upset at these comments possibly (I suspect not) but be a good boy, eat your Easter egg Uncle Aero has given you and if you promise to be good I may even let you have a go on my Flt Sim with my new 56" (sorry to old to work that out in cm - can be your homework )
LCD monitor c/w vibrating chair and controls with pulsating throttle Mmmmm

Enough!

Aeronaut, you positively have to be one of the most vindictive, foul mouthed and nasty individuals that I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. I would suspect that you seriously have issues? You embody everything that is wrong with Pprune!! Is it that perhaps you have just been made redundant or just don't have a job? 05Pearcj has done absolutely nothing to you but yet you feel the need to attack him with the malice and negativity that you seem to exude. In fact I don't think you have said one positive thing on this thread! 05Pearcj has done nothing but to put his argument forward in a very mature and very productive way which is counter to your malicious and poisonous argument. I have to say that 05Pearcj shows maturity well beyond yours......

So, Aeronaut, I guess I have just given you someone else to hate and attack, so please don't hesitate to start saying nasty things about me, in fact as per your past posts I wouldn't expect anything else, so come on show us what negative, nasty and very immature piece of work that we have come to know and dislike you can post now...

Enough ?

Never enough Slingsby old boy, but guess that told me - in your little world anyway ! Sorry you don't like my short editorial but we do have something called freedom of speech and I suppose the sheer arrogance your obvious chum's way of communicating is not to my liking. To put you straight - I have neither been made unemployed, about to be made unemployed or indeed seeking a job (does that help ?).

I have no 'war' to fight and my suggestion to you would be to "calm down dear" - take a chill pill and remember your BP for the next medical.

the map on their website doesn't seem to be based over Cranfield anymore, more towards East Anglia. Is it now Norwich based?

I may not have a wealth of experience in the industry but I am just trying to get this forum to portray a vaguely accurate argument.
My arguments: Dayjet and Eclipse.... Same kind of outsiders of the industry with the same funny idea

Good luck with burning a lot of money

disclaimer: I have not and dont want to work for this outfit. Have not applied and will not apply to work there in any shape or form.

Sorry missed this one and thought it was a classic:
good use of technology
I happen to work at companies who only make bad use of technology so you guys will be miles ahead of the competition

Just type antfarm dayjet and eclipse in google and get some experience from reading their take on technology and where it brought them

spunky monkey

You are the best ... you should be Prime Minister !!!

Unfortunatley the likes of ol Slingback and Pearcj05 think I am getting at them personally ! Nothing could be further from the truth as I am not really bothered at the end of the day what either of these two obvious chums get up to Certainly ol Slingback seems to think I really have it in for him/her .... not a chance ok.

Life is for learning and basically what I was trying to get across to these two was that with life comes experience ...... lots of it and whilst I certainly hope pearcecj05 lives out his dream of flying the big stuff (yes I do) he has to learn. Unfortunatley some (slingsby ol boy) have to learn the hard way.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeerio

Pearce.

When you've been in the industry long enough to witness the erosion of terms and conditions being helped along by the pay to fly/pay to work/pay to be interviewed brigade your criticism of people who rail against such practices might carry some weight. Except by the time you've been involved long enough to be taken seriously you too will have been affected and wouldn't want to support these schemes.

Enthusiasm is fine but please don't come here trying to teach the old hands how it should be. It's just improper.

Very few would applaud those 'paying their dowry' to join Ambeo or any other operation.

A cursory glance at the headline thread for job seekers will reveal just how many capable drivers are on the market. Are they worthy of an interview? No; of course not - Ambeo needs the steady stream of young hungry MCC Candidates, cheque books at the ready!

I fully appreciate why young pilots feel that their only choice is to engage in these dreadful schemes. CTC Flexicrew / RYR / ATP etc etc. IMHO it is the only way to progress their career in the short term. Why would any operation not use these practices as a fabulous revenue stream?

Truth is there are no low hour jobs out there, just more opportunities to 'pay to play' ; until your credit runs out!

Actually, perhaps it's time that 'BigNumber Airlines' started operations? I only charge £50-00 for a telephone interview! Any takers?

I do not know about any of the people involved but I can not help mentioning in response to the comments above that type rated does mean trained. If Ambeo are sticking to a planned trainning programme I must congratulate them.

There have been guys wandering about CBG for months now, all nicely turned out with lots of bars on. Seem to have a lot of chats in the coffee bar.
When Blink came to do circuits they all found out what a Mustang looks like so things are moving along!

Jetworld Alliance

'Cambridge Marshall Airport-based Ambeo, which received its first Cessna Citation Mustang earlier this year, announced the launch of a new partnership, the Jetworld Alliance, with Privatair of Switzerland and Sky Taxi of the Netherlands. This innovative alliance sees Ambeo, Privatair and Sky Taxi joining forces to ensure the customer has access to all types of aviation requirements through one source and reflects the general consensus that each customer's requirements will be different.'

I see that Ambeo have been granted an AOC:
Industry Headline News

Does anybody know if they have now bought their terms and conditions into something reasonable? Or is it still a (albeit disguised) pay-to-fly outfit? Do they have enough financial backing to survive more than a few months?
