Given that they have no proven capital I don't think even the desperate will take up the "offer".

Its just another very real illustration that the days of the 'bonded' type rating in GA are coming to an end.

Fair enough if it was an established operator, but one that hasn't even got an actual aircraft is just ridiculous.

Ryanair have been making money everytime they do an interview.
Yes, but at least Ryanair are an established airline with substantial infrastructure and capital.

Ambeo have no proven capital behind them and no infrastructure. How are we supposed to know that this is not just a confidence trick? Even if we are invited back for each subsequent stage of the selection process, how do we know there will actually be a job at the end?

I think that anybody who takes up this "offer" would be extremely foolish.

Having been on the A320 for 8 months I'm not sure I can really justify paying £3,000 for another MCC, with no promise of a job whatsoever.

Saying that I probably wouldn't get that far as my light twin skills are probably quite rusty now to say the least. Luckily I can hire the sim for £180 an hour though!

Seems like one of these Nigerian/Oil/get rich/butgiveusyourmoneynow scheme... But the funny side of it ? They are serious about it.

Ridiculous is an understatement. On the other hand it shows that their revolutionary business idea is to squeeze every penny where they can. I bet they have read all MOL's books but to be fair to the guy, not everybody is a MOL. Now is penny pinching on all front compatible with a successful Biz Av company ? Sure... But not for long.

Why bother getting an AOC or even aircraft, just get 100-200 guys and galls a year to fork out 2600 quid each. That is a quarter to half a million a year, more profit then you would make on 3-5 VLJ's.

I suspect that everyone will pass the selection process, only to fail once they have paid for the £2600 MCC course??

I wonder who's sim they will using? There is a Mr Spencer at Bonus aviation at Cranfield, surprise surprise they have a FNPT2 sim........sounds like i nice little earner!!!

Think i would give this one a very wide berth......It stinks!!

Reverend, I have a great business plan. We will start a Light Jet operator in London-Cranfield. You don't need to know anything about airplanes as we will never have any. There are apparently sufficient gullible individuals in Europe who will do anything to fly the non existent airplanes We will only fly with three captains for safety and that way we can increase the employment screening process. They will pay us for their interview, their assessment, their pre employment supplemental flight training, we will do what the Austrians do and charge them for all their SEP's and their interim employment supplemental flight and classroom training and whatever other training we can come up with. We can have your niece sell them uniforms and have your uncle sell them flight cases and head sets, only need one of each as we will actually never deliver them. Then we will go to the City and parade our new business around and get loads of silly UK bankers putting deposits down on non existent aircraft. We will hire cabin crew, 3 per plane and have them pay for uniforms, training etc. We could even branch out into engineering.

I calculated that with three captains and three cabin crew per aircraft we will need 600 of them in the first year to crew our 5 VLJ's

We can call it Ambryo, Plink, 365/12Jet or something like that, what do you think.

We will be rich, rich beyond your wildest dreams.

disgusting

Its so sad... Another company that is planning to hire people not based on their ability, but on how deep their pockets are. It eally makes me laugh on their advert they went on about wanting languages , instructional experience etc. Why not cut the cr_p and state in the advert that they are interested in idiots that are willing to pay over £3000 for the possibility of a job flying a jet that at the moment just doesn't exist !

Nashers, not sure who the greater fool is. Ambeo for asking the 3200 quid or you for calling them.

As long as we mention this company Ambeo and the founder Frank Noppel of Ambeo Cranfield here, google will make sure that any investor or potential employee of Ambeo and Frank Noppel will find our little thread here.

Did I mention this is in reference to a Frank Noppel of Ambeo based in Cranfield?

Article about Frank Noppel of Ambeo at Cranfield:

Jet-setting Cranfield student launches ?air taxi? flight business

Ambeo, Cranfield, Noppel, Frank.

OK, fine I will let it go, I was bored, and Nasher did not mean to insult your intelligence. Welcome to the wonderful world of aviation, hang in there you will be OK. All that have stuck it out have been rewarded.

Except of course Frank Noppel of Ambeo Cranfield, Noppel, Frank.

Google is our friend.

How is Blink doing BTW
