Come on Flinstone! We may differ on where the green grass is (if it's anywhere right now) but you have had such a happy outlook on bjets I couldn't resist! Congrats on the new bird.

Now where is that one guy that called me an axe grinder on this thread - "Hey buddy - you hear of any bjets progress?!" "Where's a snail icon when you need one!? "Hey webmaster, we need a snail icon for the bjets thread - can you work that out!?"

Stay Safe, All!

Well I always find it Interesting to read from One,( who supposedly walked away from a Job Offer from Bjets?) constantly trying to find out what the News Is about the Company... Why are you so Interested? Obviously not got a job of your own... why worry about what Bjets are up to? Perhaps you should concentrate on your own Career....! BJets are doing just fine... Thank you for asking!!!!!!!!!

B"nets"

Hey officer "Dribble:"

If that was for me, I walked from an interview (not worth it at the time) - don't recall stating I walked from an offer - check your facts.

"Overseas is where I want to be" (back too) but I have learned from a few mistakes I have seen others make - so in case you missed it, "fools rush in." Until the right time, I'll keep burning domestic kerosene (I've got a job).

"Perhaps" you should explore your terse thinking/post and enlighten us with some FACTS versus taking errant stabs at guys who you know nothing about either their position or angle.

I'm going to guess Rob, Carey or Recruiter. Either way, the whole thread is grim, and speaks for itself. If Dribble really cared about his company, mates - he'd say something positive verse alienating others on the board, way to PR, Drib.

Good Luck With Your Op There, Buddy!

My response to you always seems to resemble that of pushing back the 'Grim Reaper' You seem to Delight In any Negative Statements regarding Bjets, as for walking away from an Interview.. were you actually Offered one? Bjets are a growing Company, Slow to start with a few difficulties but The Company will do well, Large successful Companies don't always happen over night & considering the Problems It has overcome so Far It is on Track for good things.

For someone who pops up to Whinge about everything & everyone who has anything to do with this Company It has to be said that you don't really have the Honest Interest & therefore don't deserve to know where the Company Is at. If you are already In Employment you would do well to concentrate on the Job In hand and let Others reap the Benefits of the Company you Clearly wouldn't go near.. I'm sure Bjets would only Benefit from your Absence.

Hate to interrupt, but does anyone know if and when they might start hiring again. I am typed and current in the CE-525 and would love the opportunity, growing pains and all. Also does anyone have any inside info as to who I might email my resume to.

Cheers

Where do I start?
Highly paid under qualified ex-pat executives (CEO $60k per month) (COO $50k per month)causing most of the problems.
No CP, No QM, No TM, No clue!!
80% of the original 30 pilots quit or fired.
70% turnover of office staff due to poor management, poor pay and conditions.
New contracts for pilots reducing PD from $100to $30, reducing hotels to 3* (in India!...Yikes), travel time to/fm India is now taken from your off time. fly economy from USA to India and then min rest before flying and lots more goodies like that.
1 CJ2 since March and only a couple of revenue flights done. On the first revenue flight the aircraft had to divert twice .
3 Hawkers since June and each with only 100 flight hours total. That’s including the delivery flight hours from the states. Most flights were for training or flying the chairman around.
Only one 25 hour card sold and a handful of charters in the 12 months since the first aircraft arrived.
$7500 for Hawker per hour, far too expensive.
$5000 for CJ2 per hour, far too expensive.
Indian FO’s with no jet hours in the RS with Expat PIC trying to get used to the crazy local ATC procedures, not to mention the poor RT.
DGCA bribes to get expat pilots licences validated in India. Including forging pilots docs, i.e. 4 x PIC from United airlines with no hours on type suddenly having over 100 hours on type to satisfy the DGCA regulations. Scary that these guys will be LS with no hours on type in new environment with Indian FO with no jet time in RS.
Some managers not paid since Christmas and invoices for SIMs, Maintenance, expenses etc etc not paid for months.
In a court battle with IGG (Delhi Hawker Maintenance Center) who BJETs fired for no good reason (except to save money) and thus the maintenance contract was broken.
Pilot's asked to fly even when currency expired.
Come on Flinstone give us your best sales pitch...... hey they need a good salesman.
One question:-
1. Would you send one of your buddies to work for BJETS?

My prediction: 3 months left until home time.

Fly safe!

Hi HappyFeet - thanks for taking time to write such detailed post. I flew previous in India - 3 Star hotel is really bad in India. Sounds like Bjets is going fast downhill. Twin2040

HappyFeet.

Just because I helped out with their recruitment over a year ago and tried to help the ex-EBJ crew find something to tide them over doesn't mean I still have any connection. One thing I will say though, your contention that the CEO and COO are inexperienced is laughable. I mean, they only ran and built up Netjets Europe during it's largest growth period so what would they know? So what if they're on a big salary? That's what upper management gets paid and just because you don't doesn't mean it's wrong.

Based on my own experience of India I'd say most of the problems were down to local incompetence and that includes the DGCA. You couldn't plan a bigger sh1tfight than what passes for bureaucracy in that part of the world if you tried. They couldn't find their @rse in the dark with both hands.

Would I put a friend onto a job with them? If he had nothing better and went in open eyed then yes. Nobody says it's perfect but in these times an income is not to be sniffed at, anywhere. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't BJets type rate and continuously pay pilots for months while the DGCA repeatedly dreamed up new excuses to stop expats flying and taking the jobs that the little princes and princesses were demanding? Imagine that eh? They gave pilots a free type rating then paid them to sit at home doing nothing and when it became clear that the DGCA would never let them work in India waived the training bond.

How dare they? What utter b@stards

Grow up.

Not heard a thing for weeks but then I've been away a bit. I'll fire off an email or two, see if I can find out.

Last I heard was a couple of weeks ago, and things were still plodding along quite slowly thanks to the authorities there dragging their heels.

A couple of my ex colleagues are flying for them - they are quite busy right now because of whats going on in India. I read a couple of the posts on here and I would just ask people to consider what they write about companies when they have no specific facts to share. Its very easy to start rumours that cause genuine problem for operators and right now is not the time to be chucking spears. A rival company falling over brings a few customers in the short term but it shrinks the market and in the longer term is bad for everyone.

Post deleted.

Enquiries show that this company has only one female pilot which makes your accusation a nasty personal attack. If those are to be the rules of engagement perhaps I could reveal your true identity here and declare open season?

Sounds like someone didn't get what they wanted!

I didn't get to see the post, but I was the Bjets recruiter, and I can verify that the person in question has, likely more experience that you could dream up. Duck, please feel free to expose their true identity. As they live in the states, they have opened themselves up for a slam-dunk slander case.

Hang on guys

I read the post. Although it was catty in the extreme, he was not gender specific.

In this age of P.C., (madness) and gay rights etc., are you not leaving yourselves open to possible litigation by being specific?

If I remember the post WAS gender specific and it would be easy to identify the person accused.
