Age Discrimination
May I refer those few of you who fly single pilot public transport and who will, therefore, fall foul of the age 60+ rule to the Age Discrimination thread in Rotorheads.
I am very publicly challenging the CAA in the Courts using, initially, Age Discrimination legislation. There was an article in The Times on Easter monday and I was on BBC Breakfast this morning.
I need the support of all who will be affected in the next few years so, please read the thread, particularly pages 6 & 7. There's too much to wade through
otherwise.

I applaud you for trying, but there seems to be unanimity at EU government and ICAO level about the single pilot over 60 rule.Since ICAO only recently ratified these rules the chance of getting them changed is just about zero.

Saffron,
I've been out of the country for a bit so only just picked up on this.
You are correct to a point but by no means all ICAO states agree and, so far, no individual appears to have challenged this ruling for which there is no sound arguement merely prejudiced thinking.
Wait and see. It will change sooner or later and I intend do whatever I can to make it sooner.

Saffron, whilst I can see your point, defeatism isn't in helicopter pilots' language . The Germans have successfully challenged it and the Australians are getting close!!
Cheers
