New start air-taxi business

Hi All, I have an fATPL and am interested in purchasing a light-twin (Seneca, Baron or possibly a Navajo) for a combination of private and possible commercial usage. Can anyone enlighten me as to how difficult or easy it is to find an operator, willing to put such an aircraft onto their AOC. Is there normally a charge for this, or some other form of reciprocal benefit for the holder of the AOC. I understand that many small air-taxi firms operate on this basis, but what type of restrictions/problems might I encounter in trying to develop a small air-taxi business (other than a lack of customers!) ?

Regards,

hockley
