Like I said, Charlie Diggle.
And 'to the north of Paris' ie 'Paris Nord', the original name for the airport.

Asturias56 17th Jun 2022 14:41

You know I've only just got the "charlie Diggle" joke........... :ouch: :ouch: - need to get out more I guess

North of Paris - there are a lot of airports N of Paris tho - like Oslo

The smart cove in the glasses is actually Jacques Block - the Chief Engineer of ADP at the time - https://www.airporthistory.org/charles-de-gaulle-1.html

Pierre Plantard de St Clair.was the nutter behind the Priory of Sion IIRC - he probably designed Heathrow terminal 3

I guess Chevron actually named it but I'll leave it to you two to sort out who goes next

Stag Lane?

OUAQUKGF Ops 18th Jun 2022 18:54

Well done ea200 Stag Lane Aerodrome it is. Home to, amongst others, The de Havilland Aircraft Company until 1934 when that company moved to Hatfield. Stag Lane Aerodrome was then sold and subsequently built upon. The Aeroplane above is Sir Alan Cobham's DH61 G-AAEV. More here:https://www.baesystems.com/en-uk/her...h61-giant-moth
