No "double-yellow lines" at Kissimmee according to GE.
I should have said, it is not Kissimmee.

I would suggest that some research along the lines of 'P51 world records' would narrow things down a bit. This airfield does get a mention.
Texas?
Not Texas.
For world records in the confederacy and flat countryside like Florida I would suggest New Smyrna Beach; it has 'T' style parking rather than parking in rows.
Not New Smyrna Beach, but you are getting closer.
Daytona then?
Afraid you have gone in the wrong direction.
Could be Titusville - valiant Air Command's base - but I don't remember the yellow marking when I was there in 2018
Is the airport still in use - several in C Florida have been "re-purposed"? |
You are heading in the right direction. Airport is about 30 years old and is certainly still in use. Couple of 172s active at the moment but it is still early there. You need a more wordy answer.
Would the words resemble 'Riddle' and 'Embrey'?
I think the building has a specific signature, but the airport could generally be in each county.
I can see no connection with Embry-Riddle but they might use it.
Bear clearly knows where it is but I can't declare it if nobody actually names it with its' 5 word name. I would accept the first 4 which is common usage. Care to sort it out between you? Signature Flight Support is the owner of the building and County is part of the name. P51 record was by that prolific record setter Doug Mathews. On his altitude record his chase plane launched out of this airfield. See https://citationjetpilots.com/CJP/fl...ecord-setting/ |
Now my cockpit challenge is solved I can say:
North Palm beach County General aviation airport (F45). |
That mouthful of a name is correct. Bear has control.
