I’m not a tree expert like SLBear but are those baobab trees? Africa/Madagascar?

PS we're all pushing our luck on the 24 hour rule....................

My view on the 24 hour rule is that it starts when the challenge is posted so that everyone gets a chance what ever their timezone. Once 24 hours is up the correct answer can be confirmed as soon as it is posted.
Dixi. |
I agree - 24 hours from the first post.

"Yes Mid East
Not in use" I think its the old "Jerusalem International Airport" north of the city It opened and was never really used due to arguments over Palestine etc etc - some talk of turning into another settlement? |

Interesting challenge - if you hadn't have said you'd picked it up trawling the previous challenge I'd have been off in the USA I think. But the age of the pic and seeming dereliction or at least lack of attention made a search for abandoned airfields a lot easier.
OH I'm afraid someone else can have a go - I've run out of sheds, trees and fruit......... |
Never mind 24 hours, you lot usually get my aerodromes in 24 minutes.
Anyway, (northern) winter is coming… https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....ba6378705.jpeg You have sheds, trees and lamp-posts. No fruit though. |

thnarg, if you had posted the last picture first, I would have got it in one. Edmonton’s control tower is very distinctive.
