OH if correct.

Kitbag 25th Mar 2014 19:50

Fairey Delta FD1

OH if correct.

evansb 26th Mar 2014 20:45

Protocol used to dictate one would wait for confirmation before posting a new challenge. The procedure reduced confusion as to who had control.

Noyade 26th Mar 2014 20:50

It's all good gents - yes, the Fairey Delta FD-1, well done.
Buttrick has the chair...

British?.....

buttrick 26th Mar 2014 21:10

Yes it's british.

Not well known!

Noyade 27th Mar 2014 06:19

Unfortunately, the British machine I was thinking of was actually Italian...

http://i60.tinypic.com/14wyvxl.jpg

Is your British machine post WW2? Homebuilt?

buttrick 27th Mar 2014 06:59

Designed and built in WWII

What is the Italian one you posted? Or is it a future contender?

Found it:

Noyade 27th Mar 2014 09:08

Yes, they do look similar.

But looking at Miles now, the M.64?

buttrick 27th Mar 2014 09:53

Hole in two. You have the con, number one!

Thanks buttrick, but it's getting late here so I'll make it open house. Cheers.

Aircraft I have flown

http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...t/Image1-1.jpg

I watched the one that I had recently flown get to the top of the wire only to have the rudder fall off; Landed OK though.

Capot 28th Mar 2014 19:40

Looks like a Swallow to me, but then it was 1960 when I last flew one at Lasham, so it probably isn't, you lot are much too erudite for something that simple.......
