Bugger.........................

RegDep 13th Oct 2011 10:50

A bit marginal, admittedly. But a good race like in olden days, wasn't it? :ok:

Lightning Mate 13th Oct 2011 10:51

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 10:53

That one looks divergent as well!!!

Not another rocket?

Now, David, that's a little harsh, ain't it? After all those good times we had? :)

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 10:57

Yes, jet aircraft.

Not harsh at all mate - just my viewpoint.

Time to resurrect "teasers"?

Lightning Mate 13th Oct 2011 11:00

Mirage F1 ?

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 11:01

Fair enough....and there are enough teasers here I think mate. ;)

Mirage F1
Not French.

Lightning Mate 13th Oct 2011 11:06

Looks like it has an afterburner system though (the nozzles).

American?

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 11:08

Afterburner, yes.
American, no.

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 11:19

Heading off shortly. How 'bout a clue? It's British.

Lightning Mate 13th Oct 2011 11:29

What?????

A single engined afterburning British jet with rear fuselage strakes!!!!!!!!

skytrain10 13th Oct 2011 11:31

Graeme, the BAe EAP?

Noyade 13th Oct 2011 11:34

BAe EAP?

skytrain10 13th Oct 2011 11:43

Do I see a chaff/flare dispenser or is it a brake 'chute housing?

skytrain10 13th Oct 2011 12:09

Believe its a braking chute housing. It certainly uses one on landing.

SincoTC 13th Oct 2011 12:15

Just a quick stab, then I have to go, so OH if correct please!!

SAAB Gripen ??

Second thoughts, don't think it is 'coz of lack of 'chute housing, got misled on a website, twas a Mirage I saw (as one would :))
