It is where SLB has all his `moolah` stashed....National Numismatic ???....or Geldmuseum...

LINKS TO LONDON AND THE COLD WAR
|
Good evening mgahan.
Have you taken us back to Australia ? |
I am now wondering if this has been converted to a house.

Standby for PM.

Not Australia and certainly not converted to a house - although I did sleep in it for a night.
MJG |
Small hotel then ?
|
No - not a hotel, although a small one is proposed nearby.
I see you were not diverted by my initial reference to London. Let me try again: there is a direct land connection to London but although Paris is about the same distance as the crow flies (if there were crows in the vicinity, which there are not) there is no direct land connection. |
Schermany-
..Berlin airlift...? |
There is a London in what was the Russian federation.
|
Not Schermany.
I do not think the Russians have been anywhere near this airfield. There is a Japanese presence about 4km from the runway but their compound has nothing to do with the airfield. 28km away is a spare deck form the days when the airfield was associated with V Bombers . I'll be off line for a couple of hours - I do have a day job! MJG |
Guessing here, but there is a London on Christmas (Kiritimati) Island, part of Kiribati with which our contributor has a connection. Could it be a new FIS building on Kiritimati?
OH if so. |
Palm trees in corner, lots of tropical rain ,judging by the down pipes.......
London,Paris, and Poland, all on one island...and Captain Cooks hotel....! good guess Chimbu.... |
Chimbu gets to pick from the top shelf. Yes, new tower and RFFS station at Cassidy. The building was handed over last week along with the new terminal. London/Cassidy road is no better and the CCH rooms in much worse condition than Ops Grapple days. Aeon strip is in good condition.
OH declared. Now, back to the day job here at Bonriki. |
