Are those hills the Ozarks, Alleghennys, or Appalachians ?
Sorry,Brian. None of the above mentioned ranges.
How about the area near the Snake River Ohio?
Not Ohio,aviate1138. This airfield is not in the U.S.A.
You carefully say 'not in the USA' does that mean Canada?
It is indeed a Canadian airfield,Chevvron.
Well as a I know nothing about Canadian airfields, someone else will have to have a go! It does have a distinctly Canadian look about the terrain though.
The airfield appears to be configured for spruce budworm spraying. I'll guess it is in New Brunswick, perhaps Dunphy Airstrip ?
On second guess, I think it may be Nictau Aristrip, New Brunswick, Canada. |
Very warm,Brian,but not Dunphy.
Nictau Airstrip, New Brunswick, Canada.
That is correct,Brian.

Thank you Terrence. An excellent challenge. Located by the Tobique River, (pronounced Toe-Bick), Nictau Airstrip is no longer active.
Here is the next mystery aerodrome: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...OME_120830.jpg |
I know exactly where it is, but I can't spell it ----
That is a great pity,Jindabyne
