Noyade 1st Oct 2011 04:55

Hi Brian.

I thought I was looking at a fixed spatted undercarriage. But is it a wheel retracted into a fairing?

The Fairey Battle?....

Is your image a wartime silhouette?

evansb 1st Oct 2011 11:09

Yes, and yes. It is a Battle. You have control.

Noyade 1st Oct 2011 20:42

Thanks Brian.

Ikarus Fury?

Noyade 4th Oct 2011 11:33

G'day mate, sorry Martin, it's not a good silhouette.

We're moving around the threads quickly, eh mate! :)

Sorry, not a Fiat...

Ridge Runner 4th Oct 2011 11:49

A FIAT, Graeme?

Noyade 4th Oct 2011 11:50

http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/5222/findit.jpg

When you find it, don't wait for confirmation, carry on. :ok:

Goodnight.

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 11:50

Heven't we seen this RAM-generator recently?

The picture is of Meridionali Ro.37 Lince…… Fiat engine.

(That RAM generator was in a Chrislea Super Ace two months ago).

Dave Barnshaw 4th Oct 2011 12:51

Hi RegDep,could it be a Viima?.:ugh:

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 13:28

Dave, you lost me. The picture above is Noyade's own clue to his challenge #2942, and I maintain in my response that it is IMAM Ro.37.

Technically, we are now waiting for two independent confirmations on my response being correct (or Noyade coming back and calling it), or, of course, if someone disagrees with me s/he can propose alternative solutions, and the same process take place with that.

AFAIK Viima had/has radial engine, except one Viima IIB with Gipsy Major.

Edit to say: Welcome to the thread Dave. Please stay!

Ridge Runner 4th Oct 2011 13:40

I'm okay to move on. Reg has it!

Lightning Mate 4th Oct 2011 13:42

I don't do much around here now, but here is your second vote Reg. :ok:

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 14:10

Thank you for your never-failing support, Gentlemen

Lightning Mate 4th Oct 2011 15:19

Aeropro Eurofox ?

Spit161 4th Oct 2011 15:22

Tencam P2010?

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 15:33

Well Mate. You are putting me into a very difficult position. Mine is not Aeropro Eurofox, but something else. The truth is that I have major difficulties to tell mine apart from yours, although they are clearly manufactured by different firms in different countries.

I need a time-out to check, but so far have not found the designers' names, or something to that effect.

Tecnam P2010 it definitely is not.

Edit: Mate they are different constructions, the tails are clearly different. So: Not Aeropro Eurofox, but not far, either.

Ridge Runner 4th Oct 2011 15:36

Is Aerotrek A240 what you ae thinking, Reg?

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 15:39

Isn't Aerotrek built by Aeropro?

They have similar tail to Aeropro bud different from mine.

True, the tail difference is not visible in the silhouette.
