Yes, they are. I'm looking to claim anything on this one but I wondered if that was what you were thinking? Very similar! RR

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 15:56

Just to rephrase: My challenge is manufactured by a different company in a different country, and the HS location is (slightly) different from Aeropro/Aerotrek.

Edit to add a clue: different but neighbour country.

Lightning Mate 4th Oct 2011 18:22

RegDep 4th Oct 2011 18:32

RegDep 5th Oct 2011 17:17

Ilyushin Il-28

Edit: I guess not: The horisontal stabilisers are not dihedral…..

evansb 5th Oct 2011 18:54

Yes, RegDep, it is an IL-28. Your control.
http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...hin-il-281.gif

RegDep 5th Oct 2011 19:33

With all respect due, Brian, I think your challenge is Ilyushin Il-30, with swept wings and straight HS.

The Ilyushin Il-30 was a Soviet turbojet-powered tactical bomber designed as a higher-performance version of the Il-28 in the late 1940s. It was apparently canceled before the prototype made its first flight, although sources disagree on this.
Il-28 had straight leading edge and dihedral HS.

But thank you, I accept.

Here's my next
