I asked that because yours has an unusually large rear door.

Good point David. There were cargo/combi option's but they were not developed at the time. At the time of the aircraft's development the few that were delivered were all passenger, but as I mentioned above, most were converted to freighters.

Morning gents.
Grumman Gulfstream Ken? |
Grumman Gulfstream |
G'day Ken.
Dunno mate. But whatever it is, it'll have to be an Open House from me. I'm doing a Trevor - "early start tomorrow".....:) Wiki ain't much help....looking further... |
I was looking for the G-159C Gulfstream, aka Gulfstream IC Commuter. A stretch of the basic G1 developed in 1979, the project proved unsuccesful. It is mentioned in Wiki:)
http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...r/53de8fb9.jpg Noyade has declared Open House. |
I see...Dunno why, but I was looking for a windowless freighter version and I did find a source talking about a 1.57 m X 2.08 m cargo door, but no mention of a specific designation.
Cheers. :ok: |
Interesting how a stretch of a well known aircraft can put people off :) Good to see at least 2 of them still earning their keep today.
|
...and what p####s me off is that I looked at the Gulfstream but the length of the ones I found didn't match yours.
I must look deeper next time. :\ |
but the length of the ones I found didn't match yours You got one to post? If not I'll get one ready. |
