Thanks for your sentiments guys.

However, I always look on the bright side. No need to go to work unless lecturing, which this week means only today and tomorrow.

Therefore lots of time to play on the thread. :ok:

Yes, LM, it is indeed a de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou. :ok:You have control.

Lightning Mate 28th Nov 2011 17:58

Thanks Brian.

An easy one rewarded by another easy one - limited monitoring capability.......

BTW - NEVER go to CABAIR unless you want a cowboy outfit for Christmas..........:mad:

Dornier DO-335 A-6 ?
Open House,if correct

SincoTC 28th Nov 2011 19:35

Evening LM,

Therefore lots of time to play on the thread.
Glad you can see the bright side mate, hard luck!

Can't see a lower fin of the usual cruciform tail, or a pusher prop, but do see a dorsal intake for a turbojet in the tail, therefore suspect it's a Dornier Do-435 (AKA C-435) Presumably this was a proposed night-fighter variant ?

Lightning Mate 28th Nov 2011 21:06

Nicely done Stig!

Your turn mate.:ok:

See y'all soon........................:)

SincoTC 28th Nov 2011 21:22

Thanks David,

Ridge Runner 29th Nov 2011 09:53

It looks like a jap to me

SincoTC 29th Nov 2011 09:59

Morning Martin,

It does have that Japanese look about it doesn't it, but it isn't :)

Edit:

I'm in and out of the workshop at the moment, but I'll leave my light on and monitor as often as possible!

Myasishchev DVB-102....................

SincoTC 29th Nov 2011 12:03

'Artnoon LM,

Myasishchev DVB-102....................
Why so quiet mate? It is the Myasishchev DVB-102 :D

The DVB-102 was a long-range, high-altitude bomber. Only two prototypes were built, because it was decided to copy the B-29 as the Tu-4.

Lightning Mate has control :ok:

Lightning Mate 29th Nov 2011 12:35

'Artnoon to you TC.

I didn't mean to sound quiet, it's just that the paste came out grey.

At home now so just rustling up another one if you care to bear with me a little while.

Most of my prepared challenges are on what was my work computer, and Dumbo here forgot to grab them before we were locked out of the building.

Almost £20,000 of rent on it outstanding.......................do I care!

Lightning Mate 29th Nov 2011 12:42

Found one I had ready. :)

Here you go............

edit : rudder trim tab....
