Lightning Mate 17th Jun 2010 07:19

It is indeed the Sunbird.

WK has control.

http://www.pilotfriend.com/aircraft%...images3/47.jpghttp://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ilga_specs.jpg

NO!!!!!!!!!!! Its the Wilga C for Indonesia?

Ridge Runner 17th Jun 2010 07:55

Bloody hell... there were a lot with flat engines!!!! Bugger. So it could even be the Wilga 3, or the 32 with a continental?

Walter-Karl 17th Jun 2010 07:56

RR, you have the controls :)

trucky04 17th Jun 2010 07:59

PZL 104M? I think

Walter-Karl 17th Jun 2010 08:06

PS for RR.
I think that the flat engine Wilga`s were the 2C, 32 and 43 (all Continental O-470), 80-550 (re-engined with Cont. TIO-550),, 2000 (Lyc. O-540) and the Wilga C (the 3rd prototype, with O-470)
An more you know of?

Ridge Runner 17th Jun 2010 09:44

Lightning Mate 17th Jun 2010 10:11

Looks Hawker-ish.

...but isn't.

If that's a hook at the back it might have been designed for early carrier operations.

Ridge Runner 17th Jun 2010 10:32

No hook as far as i know mate. Not a Hawker

Lightning Mate 17th Jun 2010 12:00

The reason I first thought that was the engine sure looks like a Kestrel.

one11 17th Jun 2010 12:10

Vickers Vildebeest - with Hispano Suiza engine for Spain

Ridge Runner 17th Jun 2010 12:26

it most certainly is!!!! YOUR CONTROL

one11 17th Jun 2010 12:44
